In particular, host Ryan Lizza pointed to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/politics\/elections\/biden-trump-black-men-support-election-2024-poll-a7d9da22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Wall\u00a0Street\u00a0Journal<\/em> poll<\/a> from April found 30% of\u00a0Black\u00a0voters were planning to probably or definitely vote for Trump over Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomething is amiss with the polling,\u201d Clyburn said. \u201cAnybody who believes that Donald Trump will get\u00a030% of the Black male vote\u00a0or 12% of the Black female vote \u2014 I got a bridge down there on Johns Island I\u2019ll sell you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As an example, Clyburn pointed to Sen. Jon Ossoff\u2019s (D-GA) 2020 campaign, which polling did not project would be successful but was. Clyburn also cited Sen. Raphael Warnock\u2019s (D-GA) bad showing in the polls before winning his seat. When Lizza asked Clyburn if he had worries about the campaign not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/a-not-quite-united-georgia-republican-party-rallies-behind-trump\/\" title=\"Georgia's Republican Party, with lingering divisions, unites in support of Trump\">reaching black voters<\/a>, the congressman suggested the real enemy is misinformation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to tell you what concerns me,\u201d Clyburn said. \u201cWhat concerns me is the disinformation and misinformation that\u2019s being peddled out here. What really concerns me is the fact that, for some strange reason, the media are more concerned with trying to balance stories rather than report the facts. In 2020,\u00a0black\u00a0voters\u00a0made up 13.5% of all eligible\u00a0voters. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/short-reads\/2024\/01\/10\/key-facts-about-black-eligible-voters-in-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According<\/a> to the Pew Research Center, they are expected to make up 14% in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has not given up on winning over black districts, as evidenced by his recent visit to the Bronx, New York.
