Sections of \u200dthe pier had been\u200b destroyed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/to-keep-western-civilization-alive-join-in-its-great-conversation\/\" title=\"To Keep Western Civilization Alive, Join In Its Great Conversation\">stormy seas<\/a> and washed ashore, and \u200brepairs were further necessitated due\u200b to forecasts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/israel-irans-environmental-terror-behind-mediterranean-oil-spill\/\" title=\"Israel: Iran\u2019s \u2018environmental terror\u2019 behind Mediterranean oil spill\">high seas<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden\u2019s pier off the shore of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/gaza\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gaza<\/a> experienced another blow this week and has to once again been relocated due to weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The pier, which estimates have said costs up to $320 million, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/u-s-military-forced-to-halt-shipments-on-bidens-gaza-pier-after-it-falls-apart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">forced offline<\/a> late last month after it fell apart amid stormy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-migrants-dead-over-30-rescued-trying-to-cross-from-france-to-u-k\/\" title=\"5 migrants have died while over 30 were rescued attempting to cross from France to the U.K\">sea conditions<\/a> and sections of it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/4-u-s-vessels-run-ashore-near-gaza-pier\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">washed up<\/a> on the shoreline.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, due to expected high seas, the temporary pier will be removed from its anchored position in Gaza and towed back to Ashdod, Israel,\u201d said U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) in a statement. \u201cThe safety of our service members is a top priority and temporarily relocating the pier will prevent structural damage caused by the heightened sea state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision to temporarily relocate the pier is not made lightly but is necessary to ensure the temporary pier can continue to deliver aid in the future,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cAfter the period of expected high seas, the pier will be rapidly re-anchored to the coast of Gaza and resume delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza.
