During her speech, Willis \u200bclaimed \u200bthat her detractors were oversexualizing\u200c her\u200c and deliberately \u200bmispronouncing her name, reflecting\u200b on \u2064her experiences as a Black woman facing scrutiny and attacks.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_79\">\n<p>Fulton County District Attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/fani-willis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Fani Willis\">Fani Willis<\/a> took aim at her critics, while not directly naming them, as she spoke at a church outside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/atlanta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Atlanta\">Atlanta<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bleeding-heart-of-darkness-my-journey-to-the-left-coast\/\" title=\"Bleeding Heart of Darkness: My Journey to the Left Coast\">embattled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/radical-cultural-change-coming-to-america\/\" title=\"Radical Cultural Change Coming to America?\">district attorney<\/a><\/a> is facing potential disqualification from the 2020 election subversion case against former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Donald Trump\">Donald Trump<\/a> after she had an alleged inappropriate relationship with one of the prosecutors on the case. During her speech on Thursday, Willis accused her detractors of oversexualizing her and intentionally mispronouncing her name.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI live the experience of a Black woman who is attacked and oversexualized,\u201d Willis said, <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/fani-willis-trump-georgia-election-indictment-f7809f0c9c19efa026d976cab95c9a03\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"according to\">according to<\/a> the <em>Associated Press<\/em>. \u201cSee, I\u2019m so tired of hearing these idiots call my name as \u2018fanny\u2019 in a way to attempt to humiliate me because, like silly school boys, the name reminds them of a woman\u2019s rear, of her behind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump has been a frequent critic of her, including mocking the pronunciation of her name at a March rally in Ohio by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xLjp2hHLcko\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"saying\">saying,<\/a> \u201cIt\u2019s spelled Fani like your a**.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another critic of Willis is House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), who has investigated Willis\u2019s handling of her prosecution of Trump. She took an apparent swipe at him during the remarks, saying that there are \u201cpoliticians that spend no time doing their elected purpose\u201d and pointed to a \u201cclown in Washington, D.C.\u201d who has been in Congress for \u201c17 years and passed zero laws.\u201d Jordan has been in office since 2007, and none of the bills he has spearheaded have been signed into law.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Willis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3041159\/fani-willis-fights-to-end-trumps-appeal-over-disqualification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"asked\">asked<\/a> an appellate court to dismiss an appeal from the Trump camp of a ruling allowing her to remain on the 2020 election case in the Peach State.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During her remarks, Willis said she does not let the insults hinder her from doing her job and vowed to persist with her job as district attorney.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I\u2019m here to tell you is to not concern yourself with insults of me.
