Conducted by J.L. Partners, the poll reveals\u200d that 70% expect Biden to falter in his speech, \u206241% \u2064foresee him walking off incorrectly, and 40% anticipate\u2064 issues with him standing. Conversely, 50% expect Donald Trump to win the debate. \u2062Moreover, Trump is predicted by 80% of likely voters to interrupt Biden, 61% believe \u200bhe will go off on\u2064 tangents, and 54% foresee his microphone being cut off. The debate, set to have no live audience at\u200b Biden\u2019s team&#8217;s request, will be moderated by CNN\u2019s Jake Tapper\u200d and Dana Bash with strict time limits enforced. Partners, surveyed 500 \u201clikely general election voters\u201d on June 10-11, most of whom said they expect Trump to win the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hutchinson-claims-he-has-qualified-for-first-republican-debate-rnc-yet-to-confirm\/\" title=\"Hutchinson asserts debate qualification, RNC confirmation pending.\">upcoming presidential debate<\/a>. Seventy percent of those surveyed expect the 81-year-old Biden to mess up his words, 49% expect him to forget where he is, 41% expect him to walk off the wrong side of the stage, and 40% expect Biden to have issues standing up. Only 39% predicted Biden would win the debate, while 50%, including 13% of Democrats, said they expect Trump to win, according to the poll.<\/p>\n<p>For Trump, almost 80% of likely voters surveyed expect him to interrupt Biden during the debate, 61% think he will tell a rambling story, and 54% expect Trump\u2019s mic to be cut off at some point.<\/p>\n<p>The June 27 debate in Atlanta will be hosted by CNN and moderated by anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. Per requests from Biden\u2019s team, no live audience will be present. The Biden campaign also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/cnn-to-hold-first-2024-debate-between-trump-and-biden-with-no-audience\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">demanded<\/a> that candidates be held to \u201cfirm\u201d time limits for their answers and asked for the microphone to be turned off if a candidate tries to speak out of turn.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s age and mobility have been under the spotlight throughout his time in the White House after he became the oldest president in American history to be sworn in at 78.
