Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Felipe Vazquez found guilty of sexually assaulting 13-year-old girl\">relationship began<\/a> with Fulton County District Attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/fani-willis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fani Willis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Wade resigned from his position in the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump back in March after it was revealed that he and Willis were engaged in a relationship.<\/p>\n<p>His resignation came after Judge Scott McAfee ruled that either Wade or Willis had to exit the case for the prosecution to continue. Willis faced possible disqualification from her case against Trump over allegations that she had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gop-lawmakers-ask-biden-why-trillions-in-covid-stimulus-somehow-havent-paid-for-covid-testing-kits\/\" title=\"GOP Lawmakers Ask Biden Why Trillions In COVID Stimulus Somehow Haven\u2019t Paid For COVID Testing Kits\">misused taxpayer dollars<\/a> and showed favoritism to Wade.<\/p>\n<p>When asked by CNN\u2019s Kaitlan Collins what his relationship is currently like with Willis, Wade responded: \u201cJust as outlined earlier, we are great friends. We speak regularly. The conversation has changed, though. Whereas before, we were \u2014 our conversations were about this case, you can \u2014 I\u2019m sure you can imagine and appreciate the amount of time that it takes that you have to pour into a case trying \u2014 a case of this magnitude, trying to prosecute those defendants. But our conversations have shifted to, \u2018How are you? How are you handling the threats that are coming your way?
