(Photo by JOEL SAGET\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 4:50 PM PT \u2013 Monday, March 15, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>A new report by Project Veritas revealed Facebook\u2019s plans to break up its business in order to avoid lawsuits over its monopoly in digital services.<\/p>\n<p>Undercover reporting by Project Veritas showed Facebook\u2019s Global Planning Lead Benny Thomas discussing ways to avoid accusations of monopoly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstagram, Facebook, Messenger, Oculus, WhatsApp. They all need to be separate companies,\u201d Thomas said. \u201cIt\u2019s too much power when they\u2019re all one together.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Should the government get involved and break up Facebook?<\/p>\n<p>Facebook\u2019s own Global Planning Lead seems to think they should\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/KingZuck?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#KingZuck<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HdwClaaaoG\">pic.twitter.com\/HdwClaaaoG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 James O&#8217;Keefe (@JamesOKeefeIII) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JamesOKeefeIII\/status\/1371518258839425026?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 15, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Facebook currently faces lawsuits in 48 states over its predatory business practices, as well as proven claims of a political bias. However, critics said breaking up Facebook would be a deceptive tactic that would not affect its actual monopoly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt needs to be broken up the way the telecom companies were broken up. But better than that, because those guys just came back together pretty soon after that, and I hope we\u2019ve learned from that,\u201d Thomas said. \u201cBut that\u2019s really the one thing as you said, I would break it up, and I would remove Zuck as the CEO.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thomas added Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is \u201cruling over some 2 billion people, which gives him more power than many heads of state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Project Veritas said its latest report exposes the megalomania of Facebook corporate leaders.<\/p>\n<h4>MORE NEWS: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/sen-lankford-leaving-border-wall-95-percent-finished-makes-no-sense\/\">Sen.
