More than 32 percent of Democrats reported climate change as at least a minor reason for not having children compared to just 16 percent of Republicans who said the same. <\/p>\n<p>The American birthrate fell to a record low in 2023, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/data\/vsrr\/vsrr035.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">data<\/a> from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). An analysis from Morgan Stanley three years ago <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/08\/12\/climate-change-is-making-people-think-twice-about-having-children.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">warned<\/a> investors the \u201cmovement to not have children owing to fears over climate change is growing and impacting fertility rates quicker than any preceding trend in the field of fertility decline.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Many far-left climate activists, such as Biden\u2019s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Director Tracy Stone-Manning, have <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/06\/25\/biden-land-management-nominee-is-an-ecoterrorist-who-demanded-chinese-style-child-cap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cautioned<\/a> that children are an environmental burden who threaten to overwhelm the planet\u2019s resources. Contrary to the constant depictions of a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/12\/14\/the-new-york-times-publishes-postcards-from-a-world-on-fire-as-natural-disaster-deaths-decline-by-90-percent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">world on fire<\/a>,\u201d however, the planet can and will sustain future generations. Weather has been to blame for 0.07 percent of deaths worldwide and <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.fivethirtyeight.com\/mortality-rates-united-states\/external-forces\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">0.01 percent<\/a> of deaths in the United States between 1980 and 2014.
