The 48-page bill, known as\u2063 the &#8220;Dismantle DEI Act,&#8221; was introduced by Senator J.D. Vance of \u2063Ohio in the Senate and Representative Michael Cloud of Texas in the House. The bill seeks to promote\u200d equal \u200claw protection and \u200deliminate what \u200dit considers \u2063racism\u2064 within the federal government by targeting federal operations including \u2064training, contracting, and educational aspects. Senator Vance criticized the DEI agenda as a harmful ideology promoting hatred and racial division. This legislative effort contrasts with\u200c President Biden&#8217;s actions, as\u2062 he has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-the-biden-admin-enables-government-employees-to-change-genders\/\" title=\"Facilitating Gender Changes for Government Employees in the Biden Administration\">issued multiple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-rules-ca-gov-overstepped-his-authority-with-covid-order-issues-permanent-injunction-restraining-newsom-from-further-issuing-unconstitutional-orders\/\" title=\"Judge Rules CA Gov Overstepped His Authority with Covid Order, Issues Permanent Injunction Restraining Newsom From Further Issuing Unconstitutional Orders\">executive orders<\/a><\/a> to embed DEI values in the federal workforce, praising \u2064them as a core strength of America and aligning with his commitment to having\u200b a highly diverse administration.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/republicans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Republicans<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/congress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Congress<\/a> unveiled a bill on Wednesday geared toward getting rid of diversity, equity, and inclusion (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/dei\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DEI)<\/a> programs across the federal bureaucracy that have been embraced by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/biden-administration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden administration<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vance.senate.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Dismantle-DEI-Act.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">48-page bill<\/a> seeks to \u201censure equal protection of the law, to prevent racism in the Federal Government.\u201d It targets not only federal offices and personnel but also training, contractors, grants, advisory committees, education, and other matters.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/jd-vance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">J.D. Vance<\/a> (R-OH), who is a contender to be former President Donald Trump\u2019s running mate in this year\u2019s election, introduced the \u201cDismantle DEI Act\u201d in the Senate while Rep. Michael Cloud (R-TX) introduced the House version.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe DEI agenda is a destructive ideology that breeds hatred and racial division. It has no place in our federal government or anywhere else in our society,\u201d Vance said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vance.senate.gov\/press-releases\/senator-vance-rep-cloud-introduce-legislation-to-eliminate-all-dei-programs-from-the-federal-government\/\">statement<\/a> accompanying the release of the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden has signed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2021\/01\/20\/executive-order-advancing-racial-equity-and-support-for-underserved-communities-through-the-federal-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">multiple<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2021\/06\/25\/executive-order-on-diversity-equity-inclusion-and-accessibility-in-the-federal-workforce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">executive orders<\/a> to infuse DEI into the federal bureaucracy. In a recent speech, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-declares-diversity-equity-inclusion-the-core-strength-of-america\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> the values of DEI \u201care the core strength of America\u201d and touted having the \u201cmost diverse administration in history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/how-race-and-sex-based-affinity-groups-drive-dei-initiatives-throughout-the-federal-government\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> by The Daily Wire, the Biden administration has leveraged race and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-race-and-sex-based-affinity-groups-drive-dei-throughout-the-federal-government\/\" title=\"The Impact of Race and Gender Affinity Groups on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Federal Government\">sexuality-based employee associations<\/a> to push for leftwing policies within the administrative state. A prior GOP bill <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/this-bill-would-eliminate-federal-funding-to-any-med-school-that-incorporates-dei\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sought to cut<\/a> funding to medical schools incorporating DEI.<\/p>\n<p>Vance\u2019s office said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vance.senate.gov\/press-releases\/senator-vance-rep-cloud-introduce-legislation-to-eliminate-all-dei-programs-from-the-federal-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a> that his more sweeping bill would nix certain executive orders, terminate chief diversity officers, end critical race theory trainings, ban mandatory employee DEI pledges, and revoke DEI funding for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gov-whitmer-media-caught-in-another-lie-anarchist-arrested-for-plot-to-kidnap-and-kill-whitmer-hates-president-trump-trump-is-a-tyrant-video\/\" title=\"Gov. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Eric Schmitt (R-MO), and Rick Scott (R-FL) are co-sponsors of the anti-DEI bill in the Democrat-controlled Senate.
