When asked specifically whether Biden commuting Hunter Biden\u2019s sentence was \u201con the table,\u201d Jean-Pierre pointed back to the president\u2019s words.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have not spoken to the president about this, and what I\u2019m saying is he was asked about a pardon. He was asked about the trial specifically, and he answered it very clearly,\u201d she stated in one exchange. \u201cI don\u2019t have anything beyond what the president said.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre also declined to discuss any time the president spent Tuesday with Hunter or other Biden family members.
