I and every New Yorker who stands for peace, stand united against them. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), for example, has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/aoc-columbia-protests-nypd-mayor-nightmare-b2537694.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>clashed <\/a>with Adams over his handling of college campus pro-Palestine encampments in the city.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur message is extremely clear: destroy Hamas, bring home the hostages,\u201d Adams said at an Israel Day parade <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jacobkornbluh\/status\/1797302554793037959\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>earlier<\/a> this month. \u201cLet\u2019s bring peace so we don\u2019t lose lives of innocent people. Today you\u2019re seeing solidarity.
