Unemployment rates have stayed below 4% for 30 months, \u200dyet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/treasury-secretary-janet-yellen-we-have-to-consider-rising-inflation-rates-when-doing-stimulus-package\/\" title=\"Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen: \u2018We Have To Consider\u2019 Rising Inflation Rates When Doing Stimulus Package\">labor force participation<\/a> is down nearly a percentage point from pre-COVID levels, indicating fewer people working. Additionally, despite assertions that \u200cinflation is down 60%, calculations show a significant rise\u2064 in inflation levels since January 2021. There&#8217;s also an increase in the M2 money supply, which critics say contradicts \u200dclaims of controlling inflation. Furthermore,\u200b a report highlights that \u2063the rising cost of \u2063living under what is termed &#8220;Bidenflation\u201d has led to 27% of Americans skipping meals due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-times-makes-the-case-for-more-inflation\/\" title=\"New York Times Makes the Case for More Inflation\">unaffordable food prices<\/a>. Critics urge the \u2063White House to present \u2064economic data fully and transparently.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_79\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>President Joe Biden<\/a>\u2018s reelection campaign is not accurately representing America\u2019s economic data, and it is, in effect, lying to the rest of the country.\u00a0New research shows Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"economy\">economy<\/a> is not working, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"economy\">White House<\/a> has a duty to represent the full story when talking to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The statement below on X notes unemployment has been \u201cat or below 4% for 30 months in a row\u201d but neglects to mention that the labor force participation rate remains persistently low. The pre-COVID-19 numbers reflect about a 63.3% participation rate, but the numbers (as of May 2024) reflect that they continue to hover almost a point below that.\u00a0This means the number of people working has decreased.<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>The claim that \u201cinflation is down 60%\u201d is a flat-out misrepresentation of the data. In January 2021, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usinflationcalculator.com\/inflation\/current-inflation-rates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>consumer price index<\/a> measured inflation at around 1.4%. In April 2024, it measured inflation at 3.4%. This is a 142.85% increase in inflation numbers. By metrics like the M2 supply graphic, it can be understood that inflation has increased under Biden too. The graph has the supply at $19,323 billion in January 2021. This increased 7.99% under the Biden presidency to $20,867.30 billion. White House officials cannot continue to cherry-pick the numbers when they are convenient for them, and this practice is misleading to the rest of America.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Bidenflation, consumers have had to make significant sacrifices. One <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/media\/quarter-americans-skipping-meals-skyrocketing-grocery-costs-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"new study\">new study<\/a> found that 27%<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1800172571566166269\"> <\/a>of U.S. residents are now skipping meals due to the high cost of food. The same Sunday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodandwine.com\/americans-skipping-meals-credit-karma-survey-8660569\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>survey<\/a> found that 28% said they are putting off paying for necessities, such as rent or other bills, to afford groceries. Another 18% have applied for or have considered applying for food stamps and other types of assistance, and 15% rely on or have considered visiting food banks for their groceries. This is a problem for the public, considering the Biden administration\u2019s continual boasting about how good the economy is. This cognitive dissonance is directly harming everyday people.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The White House also boasts that income is up more than prices, but this also fails to mention that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/us-falls-far-short-of-second-quarter-gdp-growth-projections\/\" title=\"US Falls Far Short Of Second-Quarter GDP Growth Projections\">real disposable personal income<\/a> has <a href=\"https:\/\/fred.stlouisfed.org\/series\/DSPIC96\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>decreased<\/a> by 6.45% from January 2021 to April 2024. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/charts\/consumer-price-index\/consumer-price-index-by-category-line-chart.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>CPI<\/a> also suggests that price inflation was at 1.4% during the beginning of Biden\u2019s presidency but increased to 3.4% in April 2024. This, again, is a 142.8% increase since the beginning of the Biden White House. Thus the Biden administration\u2019s post noting that \u201cincomes are up more than prices\u201d is incorrect: Disposable income has decreased while prices are rising. <\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, it appears the Biden team is misrepresenting the data because he would like to be reelected. Barring the average citizen from access to the full facts is a disservice. We have to treat the public with enough respect to mention the facts from the beginning or declare when the numbers start.
