Trump expressed his view that Swift is \u2063&#8221;very beautiful&#8221;\u2063 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-ways-american-corporations-can-avoid-becoming-the-next-disney\/\" title=\"5 Ways American Corporations Can Avoid Becoming The Next Disney\">possibly liberal<\/a>, speculating whether her political stance\u200b is genuine\u200b or merely a fa\u00e7ade. \u2064He was surprised by the \u200didea of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/siriusxm-pandora-cmt-iheartradio-pull-morgan-wallen-music-following-n-word-video-recorded-by-neighbor\/\" title=\"SiriusXM, Pandora, CMT, iHeartRadio Pull Morgan Wallen Music Following N-Word Video Recorded By Neighbor\">country star<\/a> being successful while liberal, despite Setoodeh pointing \u200bout \u200cthat Swift had not released a country album since 2012. Trump also mentioned Garth Brooks \u2064as another example of a liberal country artist, questioning \u200dhow liberal \u200bartists can be successful in the genre.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a> pondered whether singer-songwriter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/taylor-swift\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taylor Swift<\/a> is actually liberal.<\/p>\n<p>Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh asked Trump about Swift during a November 2023 interview for his forthcoming book, \u201cApprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think she\u2019s beautiful \u2014 very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she\u2019s liberal. She probably doesn\u2019t like Trump. I hear she\u2019s very talented,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI think she\u2019s very beautiful, actually \u2014 unusually beautiful!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Variety <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/tv\/news\/donald-trump-taylor-swift-beautiful-liberal-apprentice-1236030425\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> on Monday that Trump also questioned whether Swift has been putting on a show when it comes to her politics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe is liberal, or is that just an act?\u201d Trump asked Setoodeh. \u201cShe\u2019s legitimately liberal? It\u2019s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Setoodeh noted that Swift has not released a country album since \u201cRed\u201d in 2012, Trump replied, \u201cGarth Brooks is liberal. Explain that!
