None of his answers were egregious or wrong, but Rolling Stone\u2019s portrayal of them is an indictment of their antipathy toward America\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/eric-holder-urges-democrats-to-pack-supreme-court-says-federal-courts-are-stacked-with-ideologues-who-reach-rulings-based-on-stunted-mindsets\/\" title=\"Eric Holder Urges Democrats to Pack Supreme Court, Says Federal Courts Are Stacked with Ideologues \u201cWho Reach Rulings Based on Stunted Mindsets\u201d\">founding ideals<\/a> and principles.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-384098089\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-164b7a069ee93b4877c8d6a9a2f7aacc fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-164b7a069ee93b4877c8d6a9a2f7aacc\"><\/div>\n<p>Windsor, faking her entire position, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lawindsor\/status\/1800201783945683120\">told Alito<\/a> she doesn\u2019t know \u201cthat we can negotiate with the left in the way that needs to happen for the polarization to end. I think that it\u2019s a matter of, like, winning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think you\u2019re probably right,\u201d Alito said. \u201cOn one side or the other \u2014 one side or the other is going to win. I don\u2019t know. I mean, there can be a way of working \u2014 a way of living together peacefully, but it\u2019s difficult, you know, because there are differences on fundamental things that really can\u2019t be compromised. They really can\u2019t be compromised. So it\u2019s not like you are going to split the difference.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of course Alito said nothing inaccurate \u2014 the left <em>is<\/em> waging a dystopian war on every \u201cfundamental\u201d principle from the Second Amendment to freedom of speech. Conservatives surely should not compromise their inherent, God-given rights enumerated in part by the founders all because globalist-backed leftists want total control.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople in this country who believe in God have got to keep fighting for that \u2014 to return our country to a place of godliness,\u201d Windsor continued in response.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-5f97341809e15f21223142c54961f0ba fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-5f97341809e15f21223142c54961f0ba\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI agree with you, I agree with you,\u201d Alito said to the horror of Rolling Stone, which claimed in its headline that Alito was \u201ccaught\u201d saying such a, well, truthful thing.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s this type of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-jr-tells-gop-to-get-tough-if-democrats-are-playing-hardball-then-we-got-to-play-hardball\/\" title=\"Trump Jr. Tells GOP To Get Tough: If Democrats Are \u2018Playing Hardball\u2019 Then \u2018We Got To Play Hardball\u2019\">feigned outrage<\/a> meant to invoke a sense of hysteria from left-wing detractors who will use this mischaracterized answer to smear Alito for being a justice with religious beliefs \u2014 which apparently is not longer allowed.<\/p>\n<p>But surely a justice, meant to protect the Constitution, would be best suited to interpret laws in a way that closely aligns with the founders\u2019 intentions if they too share the same bedrock principles as, let\u2019s say, Thomas Jefferson. During his <a href=\"https:\/\/avalon.law.yale.edu\/19th_century\/jefinau2.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">second inaugural address<\/a>,\u00a0Jefferson said\u00a0that he needed the \u201cfavor of that Being in whose hands we are, who led our forefathers, as Israel of old, from their native land, and planted them in a country flowing with all the necessaries and comforts of life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the very last line of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/founding-docs\/declaration-transcript\">Declaration of Independence<\/a> presupposes the nation\u2019s \u201cfirm reliance\u201d on God. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-b7541ebe1ebd1700178bf5b1faacb59a fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-b7541ebe1ebd1700178bf5b1faacb59a\"><\/div>\n<p>But these answers, according to Rolling Stone, show a \u201cpartisan member of a hard-right judicial faction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Windsor also feigned outrage over the murdering of innocent babies and said she didn\u2019t know \u201chow we bridge that gap\u201d between those oppose the <em>Dobbs v. Jackson<\/em> decision and those who support it.<\/p>\n<p>Alito responded by correctly stating the court is limited in what it can do to facilitate that bridge-building, adding \u201cwe have a very defined role and we need to do what we\u2019re supposed to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Windsor posted audio, purportedly from the same event last year, in which Alito said the court could not identify the individual\/s who leaked the <em>Dobbs<\/em> decision because the court does not have \u201cthe power to subpoena people to testify, to subpoena records, phone records or other things like that. We don\u2019t have that authority.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Windsor then tried to goad Alito into agreeing that he wishes the court had more power, but Alito immediately responded by explaining, once again, the court\u2019s power is limited.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, we\u2019re not a law enforcement agency you know, it\u2019s, people have certain rights to privacy so law enforcement agencies can issue subpoenas, and get search warrants and all that sort of thing, but we can\u2019t do that,\u201d Alito responded. \u201cOur Marshal did as much as she could do, that was limited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In layman\u2019s terms, Alito acknowledges that the court lacks quite a bit of power despite the left trying to portray it as though nine individuals control the nation. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-82e99f998e107c73e0ae6180886a7154 fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-82e99f998e107c73e0ae6180886a7154\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">    \t\t\t\t\t   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Left-wing media is targeting Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito again, outraged over his Christian beliefs and advocacy for limited government.
