Trump has previously\u2062 promised to execute the &#8220;largest deportation&#8221; operation in U.S. \u2064history if re-elected, and mentioned using the National Guard for this purpose. This support also extends to giving local law enforcement the authority to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kjp-not-thrilled-about-illegals-being-sent-to-delaware\/\" title=\"KJP Not Thrilled About Illegals Being Sent to Delaware\">identify illegal immigrants<\/a>. The poll included 1,615 voters, with an emphasis on battleground states. Trump, criticizes the recent high numbers of illegal immigrants\u2064 under President Biden, describing the situation as an\u200d &#8220;invasion&#8221; that necessitates strong \u2063actions\u2064 to\u200b curb crime and manage\u2063 the border effectively.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Around six in ten registered voters, including one-third of Democrats, would favor the U.S. government deporting all illegal immigrants, according to a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/poll-trump-biden-neck-and-neck-06-09-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The CBS News\/YouGov poll published on Sunday found that 62% of registered voters support a new national program to deport all illegal immigrants, similar to a plan that has been proposed by former President Donald Trump, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GPGI1pAH_lY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">promised<\/a> to carry out the \u201clargest deportation\u201d operation in American history if he is re-elected. A majority of those surveyed also support giving local law enforcement the power to identify illegal immigrants living in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The poll surveyed 1,615 registered voters across the U.S. between June 5 and 7 and \u201coversampled\u201d people in the seven battleground states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>In an <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/6972022\/donald-trump-transcript-2024-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview<\/a> with Time Magazine earlier this year, Trump said that his massive deportation plans would involve the National Guard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese aren\u2019t civilians,\u201d Trump said of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-press-secretary-forgets-biden-signed-executive-order-to-resume-catch-and-release\/\" title=\"White House press secretary forgets Biden signed executive order to resume \u2018catch and release\u2019\">illegal immigrants crossing<\/a> the U.S. southern border in record numbers under President Joe Biden. \u201cThese are people that aren\u2019t legally in our country. This is an invasion of our country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have to do what you have to do to stop crime and to stop what\u2019s taking place at the border,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021 \u2014 Biden\u2019s first year in office \u2014 there were an estimated 10.5 million illegal immigrants living in the U.S. Since that time, millions more illegal immigrants have flooded across the border. Customs and Border Protection has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/newsroom\/stats\/southwest-land-border-encounters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> around eight <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/texas-gov-abbott-300th-busload-of-illegals-heading-to-chicago\/\" title=\"Texas Gov. Abbott: 300th Busload of Illegals Heading to Chicago\">million southwest land border encounters<\/a> with illegal immigrants over the past three and a half years.<\/p>\n<p>That number doesn\u2019t count \u201cgotaways\u201d who have crossed into the U.S. without detection. Under the Biden administration, there have been an estimated <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/05\/16\/us-news\/1-7-million-gotaways-have-sneaked-into-us-under-biden-data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1.7 million<\/a> \u201cgotaways,\u201d according to Border Patrol.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1716990157394000&#038;usg=AOvVaw33qQydjIo8bet419amChif\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The CBS News poll also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-stakes-out-popular-position-as-republicans-try-to-navigate-abortion-politics-poll\/\" title=\"Poll: Trump Takes Firm Stance Amid GOP Abortion Debate\">found wide support<\/a> for Biden\u2019s recently signed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-signs-weak-executive-order-to-address-his-border-crisis-after-claiming-he-couldnt-do-it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">executive order<\/a> on the border that Trump and Republicans have slammed as \u201cweak.\u201d The president\u2019s executive order will shut down temporary asylum requests if the average of daily border encounters hits 2,500 among official ports of entry. Among those surveyed by CBS News, 70% said they approve of Biden\u2019s latest action on the border, while 30% disapprove.<\/p>\n<p>Trump, however, was the most trusted by those surveyed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/77-democrat-lawmakers-author-letter-criticizing-bidens-handling-of-border-crisis\/\" title=\"77 Democrat Lawmakers Author Letter Criticizing Biden\u2019s Handling of Border Crisis\">decrease illegal border crossings<\/a>. Seventy percent of respondents said Trump\u2019s policies would decrease crossings, while only 20% said Biden\u2019s policies would do the same.
