These \u200bmeasures will take effect on November 18 and\u200b last for three \u200cweeks. Governor Whitmer emphasized the severity of the situation and\u200b urged everyone to do their\u2064 part in stopping the spread of the virus. The new\u2062 restrictions have faced\u2062 pushback \u200cfrom\u200c some business owners and\u200b officials,\u2063 but Governor Whitmer has stated that they \u2064are necessary \u2063to save lives and protect frontline workers.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) said that she lost connection during a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/crimes-against-news-crews-in-oakland-california-cause-rethinking-of-live-coverage\/\" title=\"Crimes Against News Crews in Oakland, California Cause Rethinking of Live Coverage\">remote interview<\/a> over the weekend when asked about the criminal trial against President Joe Biden\u2019s son, Hunter Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Whitmer was asked about the case by Dana Bash during CNN\u2019s \u201cState of the Union\u201d on Sunday as the trial enters its second week in a Delaware federal court.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden is accused by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-ag-barr-authorizes-federal-prosecutors-to-pursue-substantial-allegations-of-voting-irregularities-before-2020-election-is-certified\/\" title=\"BREAKING: AG Barr Authorizes Federal Prosecutors to Pursue \"Substantial Allegations\" of Voting Irregularities Before 2020 Election is Certified\">federal prosecutors<\/a> of committing three felonies related to his purchase of a firearm in 2018, including lying on the background check and being in possession of the firearm.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-orders-detention-for-alleged-proud-boy-whose-lawyer-blames-trump-for-capitol-incident\/\" title=\"Judge Orders Detention for Alleged Proud Boy Whose Lawyer Blames Trump for Capitol Incident\">charges stem<\/a> from him not being allowed to own a firearm because of his addiction to crack cocaine, something that he has been very public about.<\/p>\n<p>When Whitmer was asked about the charges, she responded: \u201cDana, are you there?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CNN had to end the segment because Whitmer claimed that she could not hear Bash.<\/p>\n<p>However, at the end of the show, Whitmer rejoined and was again asked about the charges to which she responded: \u201cYou know, I don\u2019t know how to weigh in on that, Dana.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the initial portion of her interview she had plenty to say about former President Donald Trump and the controversial trial and verdict \u2014 which many experts say is likely to be overturned on appeal \u2014 in Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnder this democracy, no one\u2019s above the law.
