Google claimed that the app violated their\u2062 &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gofundme-yanks-page-run-by-virginia-parents-fighting-woke-curriculum\/\" title=\"GoFundMe Yanks Page Run by Virginia Parents Fighting Woke Curriculum\">hate speech policy<\/a>&#8221; and that it contained content implying a particular group\u2064 was inferior or worthy of hate. However, after receiving \u200dbacklash and further review, Google admitted that the removal was a mistake and the app has been reinstated. The incident has sparked concerns about\u2062 Big Tech&#8217;s\u2064 censorship of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/conservatives-respond-to-twitters-ban-on-the-president\/\" title=\"Conservatives respond to Twitter\u2019s ban on the President\">conservative voices<\/a> \u2062and \u200cthe need for clearer policies.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Conservative media organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/prageru\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PragerU<\/a> was kicked off of the Google Play store on Friday shortly after it released its documentary \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.prageru.com\/video\/dear-infidels\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dear Infidels: A Warning to America,<\/a>\u201d but the Big Tech company said the suspension was a mistake.<\/p>\n<p>Google notified PragerU that it had violated its \u201chate speech policy,\u201d according to a screenshot shared by the conservative non-profit, and the app was booted from Android users\u2019 mobile store, The Jerusalem Post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/us\/prageru-booted-from-google-s-play-store-for-violating-hate-speech-policy\/ar-BB1nQz64\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>. The Big Tech giant also told PragerU that its app went under a review, which found \u201ccontent or speech asserting that a protected group is inhuman, inferior or worthy of being hated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hours later, however, Google said that the app had been reinstated \u201cafter further re-review,\u201d and a Google spokesman told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/technology\/3033442\/google-lifts-suspension-on-conservative-content-app-initiated-in-error\/#google_vignette\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Washington Examiner<\/a> that the suspension was made in error.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn an email from Google, they said our recently removed app is now available \u2018after further re-review,&#8217;\u201d PragerU <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prageru\/status\/1799216136346833402\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> on X. \u201cThank you to all of our amazing supporters who helped publicize this issue to force Google to reverse their earlier decision to remove our app from the store entirely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new documentary that PragerU suspected was the reason for Google\u2019s suspension of its app \u201cfeatures first-hand accounts from those who escaped Islamic rule and have come to warn America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRadical Islam poses a significant threat to our freedom,\u201d the documentary description states. \u201cThe rise of anti-American rhetoric and violence in cities and universities is a direct result of the indoctrination led by those perpetrating a religious war against the West.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PragerU, which was started by conservative writer and radio show host Dennis Prager, has been targeted by Google and YouTube in the past.
