Founded by Kerry KingBrown, the service prioritizes safety through \u200cstringent driver\u200c requirements and onboard \u2062surveillance. The company, originating in Atlanta in 2023, now serves multiple cities in Florida.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>BlackWolf, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/tiktok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>TikTok<\/a>-famous ride-sharing service, has recently expanded to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/miami\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Miami<\/a>, introducing a fleet of armed drivers with backgrounds in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/law-enforcement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>law enforcement<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/military\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>military<\/a>, and security.<\/p>\n<p>Kerry KingBrown, an alumnus of the University of Miami and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/chicago-gas-stations-partnering-with-armed-security-to-protect-customers-amid-carjacking-epidemic\/\" title=\"Chicago Gas Stations Partnering With Armed Security To Protect Customers Amid \u2018Carjacking Epidemic\u2019\">private security guard<\/a>, is the founder of the company. <\/p>\n<p>He launched BlackWolf in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/atlanta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Atlanta<\/a> in 2023 and has since expanded its presence to include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and other cities across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/florida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Florida<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t reinvent ride-hailing, we just made it safer,\u201d its <a href=\"https:\/\/blackwolfapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>website<\/a> says.<\/p>\n<p>BlackWolf\u2019s drivers must have a minimum of four years of military experience or five years in law enforcement or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-appointees-decry-white-male-diplomacy\/\" title=\"Biden Appointees Decry \u2018White Male\u2019 Diplomacy\">security sector<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Through the app, passengers have the choice to request either an armed or unarmed driver. There are also front-facing cameras in the vehicle recording a live video of the trip.<\/p>\n<p>Rides cost more than the average <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/uber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Uber<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/lyft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Lyft<\/a>. For example, according to the app, a 15-minute drive from Miami International Airport to downtown with an armed driver can cost $86.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, KingBrown faced legal problems in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/georgia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Georgia<\/a> after a judge ruled that he had marketed Black Wolf as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ben-jerrys-urged-its-hometown-to-slash-police-force-so-businesses-launched-their-own-safety-program\/\" title=\"Ben &#038; Jerry\u2019s Urged Its Hometown To Slash Police Force, So Businesses Launched Their Own Safety Program\">private <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/like-something-out-of-black-mirror-how-an-australian-town-became-a-smart-city-overnight\/\" title=\"\u2018Like Something Out Of Black Mirror\u2019: How An Australian Town Became A \u2018Smart-City\u2019 Overnight\">security company<\/a><\/a> without obtaining the necessary licensing.<\/p>\n<p>In an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vLvzbtHdAC0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>interview<\/a> with Fox 5, he said he did not need a license because he was not operating a security company but rather a ride-sharing service. <\/p>\n<p>After that interview, Georgia revoked his individual security guard license and the judge issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/osah.ga.gov\/decisions\/2402718_1059412.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>cease-and-desist order<\/a>, making him subject to a $500 fine for each day he continued to operate without a license.<\/p>\n<p>According to the court order, he failed the private security examination six times, with his most recent attempt being in 2023.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/?d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong>CLICK TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To obtain a license in Georgia, he must pass the exam, which covers a range of security topics, provide proof of state-approved employee training, and meet certain insurance levels.\u00a0KingBrown will also need a license to operate in Miami. <\/p>\n<p>Two months after the ruling, KingBrown was seen working as part of a security team protecting Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/marjorie-taylor-greene\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a> (R-GA). <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BlackWolf, a TikTok-famous ride-sharing service, now in Miami, features armed drivers from law enforcement, military, and security fields.
