She made the admission when she took the stand on day 4 of Hunter\u2019s Delaware trial, where he faces several gun-related charges, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/06\/06\/us-news\/hunter-bidens-sister-in-law-ex-lover-hallie-says-shes-ashamed-of-using-crack-after-first-son-introduced-her-to-drug\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">New York Post<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Halie, who told the courtroom that the two became romantically involved in late 2015 or early 2016, said that after they started dating she learned of Biden\u2019s use of the drug. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI found it [crack] and Googled it because I didn\u2019t know what it was,\u201d Hallie said of finding it in her Wilmington home. \u201cHe told me what it was, crack cocaine.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Biden\u2019s sister-in-law \u2014 who testified on the guarantee of immunity \u2014 said she started using the drug too in June 2018 but was done with it by August that year, telling the prosecution that it was Hunter who had introduced her to the illegal substance. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud83d\udea8 Hallie Biden, the widow of Hunter Biden\u2019s late brother Beau Biden, testified that Hunter introduced her to crack. \u201cIt was a terrible experience that I went through. I regret that time of my life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hallie said while she was done with it by the end of that summer, Hunter wasn\u2019t \u2014 and she witnessed the first son smoking it. She also said she went with him to get to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/howard-husock-why-new-york-citys-drug-death-epidemic-is-no-surprise\/\" title=\"Howard Husock: Why New York City\u2019s Drug Death Epidemic Is No Surprise\">illegal street drug<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Biden\u2019s sister-in-law said when he used the drug it would result in him becoming \u201cagitated [and] high-strung. But other times [he was] functioning as well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pivotal to the case, Hallie also testified about finding Hunter\u2019s gun \u2014 which he\u2019s charged with illegally owning while on drugs in October 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She said she found it when she went \u201cto clean out any drugs or alcohol in the car \u2026 in an effort to help him get or stay sober.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAside from trash and clothes, I found remnants of crack cocaine, paraphernalia \u2014 oh, and the gun, obviously,\u201d Hallie told the court.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI panicked and I wanted to get rid of them,\u201d she added, of the gun and ammunition. \u201cI didn\u2019t want him to hurt himself or [for] my kids to find it and hurt themselves.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She said she ended up putting the gun in a leather pouch and tossing it in the trash at her grocery store.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hunter is charged with lying on a form in order to purchase a handgun in October 2018. Because Hunter is a drug addict, he should have checked a box indicating such, and not doing so amounted to making a false statement material to a firearms sale and making a false statement in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-secret-service-intervened-in-hunter-biden-gun-incident-lied-on-background-check-form-report-says\/\" title=\"BREAKING: Secret Service Intervened In Hunter Biden Gun Incident; Lied On Background Check Form, Report Says\">firearms transaction record<\/a>, Reuters <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/legal\/what-are-criminal-charges-likely-defense-hunter-bidens-gun-trial-2024-06-03\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Those are the first two charges against Hunter.
