Chairman and CEO of TXSE James Lee posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7203919474985476096\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">his Linkedin<\/a> that investors will include names like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/blackrocks-stand-fossil-fuels-now-costing-big-way-texas-makes-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BlackRock<\/a> and Citadel Securities.<\/p>\n<p>TXSE is expected to have the most capital at launch of any exchange to file with the SEC, according to CNN and Lee\u2019s post.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.txse.com\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TXSE website<\/a>, \u201cTexas and the other states in the southeast quadrant of the U.S. lead the nation in economic expansion and population growth, making Texas the clear choice for the establishment of a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bittrex-to-pay-24-million-to-settle-with-us-securities-regulator\/\" title=\"Bittrex to pay M in settlement with US securities regulator.\">national securities exchange<\/a>. For decades, Texas has been the nation\u2019s leader in attracting business relocations and expansions. It\u2019s home to more Fortune 500 companies than any other state and more than 5,200 private equity-sponsored companies, many of which are preparing to access the public markets. In addition, there are more than 1,500 publicly traded companies throughout the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While there is plenty to speculate on regarding markets, investments and the potential for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/as-european-energy-companies-shift-to-renewables-us-firms-shore-up-oil-and-gas-supplies\/\" title=\"European energy companies are transitioning to renewables, while US firms focus on securing oil and gas supplies.\">private equity companies<\/a> to go public, there is a notable trend with TXSE\u2019s creation that\u2019s been playing out now for several years: money leaving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-biden-calls-blue-states-green-states-latest-mental-mishap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blue states<\/a> and going to red states.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not exactly a well-kept secret that New York has not been the most welcoming or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-how-nebraska-has-the-lowest-unemployment-rate-in-the-nation-gov-pete-ricketts\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE: How Nebraska Has the Lowest Unemployment Rate in the Nation: Gov. Pete Ricketts\">pro-business state<\/a> in recent memory.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/money\/companies\/wall-street-firms-are-leaving-new-york-taking-1-trillion-with-them\/ar-AA1fC7d1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">  From 2020 to 2023,<\/a> New York lost nearly $1 trillion in asset management companies as 158 companies moved out of the state.<\/p>\n<p>The Tax Foundation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/taxfoundation.org\/research\/all\/state\/2024-state-business-tax-climate-index\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201c2024 State Business Tax Climate Index\u201d<\/a> ranked New York 49th for its tax system, only beating New Jersey.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Can the Texas Stock Exchange compete with Wall Street?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>New York City\u2019s vacant storefronts have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/blue-state-paradise-vacant-nyc-storefronts-creating-havoc-nearly-double-since-pandemic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nearly doubled since the COVID-19 pandemic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>New York Mayor Eric Adams seemed more occupied with providing free food, free housing and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/get-jabbed-win-cash-prizes-nyc-offers-100-booster-shot-payments\/\" title=\"Get Jabbed, Win Cash Prizes: NYC Offers 0 Booster Shot Payments\">pre-paid debit cards<\/a> to illegal aliens than he is with fighting the state\u2019s precipitous downfall.<\/p>\n<p>The city had plans in motion to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nyc-hands-prepaid-debit-cards-immigrants-threw-away-charity-food-yes-read-right\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">give illegals spending money via cash cards<\/a> in March as they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/illegal-aliens-tossing-1-million-per-month-free-food-citizens-contend-drastic-budget-cuts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">threw out free food they didn\u2019t want.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The streets aren\u2019t welcoming, either. Whether you\u2019re a regular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/woman-critical-condition-attacked-steps-church\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Yorker at church<\/a> or a famous actor like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/actor-steve-buscemi-attacked-broad-daylight-walking-new-york-city-street-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steve Buscemi,<\/a> it\u2019s not out of the ordinary to be the victim of a vicious assault while having the audacity to keep to yourself.<\/p>\n<p>While the regular person will surely make an exodus to greener pastures, companies are taking note as Texas now has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasrealestatesource.com\/blog\/companies-moving-to-texas\/#:~:text=High-profile%20companies%20like%20Oracle%2C%20HPE%2C%20and%20Charles%20Schwab,the%20most%20Fortune%20500%20companies%20of%20any%20state.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more Fortune 500 companies than any other state<\/a>, according to a July 2023 report by Texas Real Estate Source.<\/p>\n<p>While we shouldn\u2019t kid ourselves about TXSE\u2019s creation, as there are around 13 stock exchanges in the country, it does fit well in the broader trend playing out.<\/p>\n<p>Wall Street is a hallmark of New York as the financial heartbeat of the country.<\/p>\n<p>With its prosperity at stake, Texas\u2019 move should motivate the state to change its tune and flourish once more.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>\u201cWe don\u2019t even know if an election will be held in 2024.\u201d Those 12 words have been stuck in my head since I first read them. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>Former Lt.
