Republicans can\u2019t win until they understand the threats this election faces as a whole new host of rigging tactics play out, not the least of which is Democrats\u2019 attempt to jail their political opponent.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cZuckbucks\u201d schemes of 2020 pale in comparison to Biden\u2019s mobilization of the federal government to drive voter turnout in ways that help Democrats. And as damaging as the Russia-collusion hoax was for the country, Democrats have topped it by attempting to throw their top political opponent in jail.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-3356527\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-e1979326257e2140bf0704316d6678af fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-e1979326257e2140bf0704316d6678af\"><\/div>\n<p>As my colleague <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/12\/the-2024-election-is-being-rigged-right-now-in-plain-sight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John Daniel Davidson<\/a> put it: \u201cMuch like the 2020 election, which wasn\u2019t stolen so much as rigged months in advance to give Joe Biden an advantage that all but guaranteed his victory, the 2024 election is being rigged to ensure that Trump either cannot run or, if he does run, cannot win.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s New?<\/h2>\n<p>In a move that will define this new American era, Democrats are trying to throw their chief political rival in jail.<\/p>\n<p>A Soros-funded Manhattan district attorney cooked up charges that no one can properly articulate before presenting it to a jury selected from a pool that voted overwhelmingly for <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/28\/biden-pressers-confirm-get-trump-lawfare-is-a-campaign-stunt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biden<\/a> in 2020. A Biden donor then oversaw the show trial against Trump that was nothing more than an extension of Democrats\u2019 2016 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/06\/04\/democrats-2016-election-trutherism-lurks-behind-trumps-show-trial-conviction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">election denialism<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[READNEXT:[READNEXT:<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/31\/trump-verdict-is-indictment-of-gop-leaders-who-cant-be-bothered-to-resist-republic-wrecking-lawfare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trump Verdict Is Indictment Of GOP Leaders Who Can\u2019t Be Bothered To Resist Republic-Wrecking Lawfare<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-7dc168003c251522401296ed9ebd473b fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-7dc168003c251522401296ed9ebd473b\"><\/div>\n<p>At this point, we can\u2019t assume the left-wing judge won\u2019t sentence Trump to actual jail time. Trump also faces three other criminal lawfare cases that seem unlikely to make it to trial by November, including one case in which Biden\u2019s DOJ authorized an unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago \u2014 during which agents were <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/21\/fbi-was-authorized-to-use-deadly-force-against-trump-during-mar-a-lago-raid-court-filings-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">authorized<\/a> to use deadly force \u2014 to find documents that government prosecutors later admitted they <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/08\/judge-halts-trumps-classified-docs-trial-after-doj-admits-to-evidence-tampering\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tampered<\/a> with.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of these trials is at least twofold. First, they are meant to drain Trump\u2019s resources and interfere with his ability to hit the campaign trail and interact with voters. Second, as evidenced by Democrats\u2019 immediate use of the term \u201cconvicted felon\u201d to describe the former president, the trials are designed to assassinate his character and make him appear a less appealing alternative than Biden, whom many voters have soured on.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/04\/unanimous-scotus-smacks-down-colorado-lawfare-states-have-no-power-to-kick-trump-off-ballot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">also sought<\/a> to keep Trump out of the White House by simply removing him from the ballot under the auspices of an obscure legal theory that the Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/05\/9-0-decision-shows-how-far-removed-democrat-lawfare-and-its-media-cheerleaders-are-from-reality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unanimously<\/a> rejected.<\/p>\n<p>And if lawfare can\u2019t kneecap Trump in time for Nov. 5, certainly the weaponization of federal agencies to target Democrat-leaning voters will give Republicans a run for their money.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-44f34c66482757be245826eff21e87e3 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-44f34c66482757be245826eff21e87e3\"><\/div>\n<p>Upon taking office, Biden issued <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/30\/members-of-congress-and-state-election-officials-ask-scotus-to-stop-bidenbucks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Executive Order 14019<\/a> which essentially directs federal agencies to use taxpayer funds to interfere in elections. One agency by which this is being done is the Department of Education (DOE), for example. The DOE issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/fsapartners.ed.gov\/knowledge-center\/library\/dear-colleague-letters\/2024-02-26\/use-federal-work-study-funds-voter-registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">memo<\/a> in February announcing Federal Work-Study funds could now be used to employ students at government agencies to register voters or serve as poll workers. College-aged students and recent graduates are <a href=\"https:\/\/circle.tufts.edu\/latest-research\/millions-youth-cast-ballots-decide-key-2022-races\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statistically<\/a> far more likely to be Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the DOJ\u2019s role in the get-Trump lawfare, Biden\u2019s Attorney General Merrick Garland has <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/04\/biden-department-of-justice-declares-war-on-voter-id-and-other-election-security-laws\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">declared<\/a> the department would challenge state laws related to voter ID requirements or safeguards put in place for mail-in ballots and the use of drop boxes.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, even individual states are taking steps to rig the election in Democrats\u2019 favor. Pennsylvania, for example, has <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/20\/exclusive-jordan-tells-cisa-to-fork-over-docs-about-collusion-with-pennsylvania-to-target-election-speech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">partnered<\/a> with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) \u2014 which has been described as the \u201cnerve center\u201d of government censorship \u2014 to target speech it deems a \u201cthreat\u201d ahead of the election. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/06\/nevada-law-allowing-late-ballots-to-be-counted-is-unconstitutional-lawsuit-alleges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nevada\u2019s<\/a> legislature passed a law in 2021 that closely mirrored a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nevada-law-allowing-late-ballots-to-be-counted-is-unconstitutional-lawsuit-alleges\/\" title=\"Lawsuit claims Nevada's late ballot counting law is unconstitutional\">temporary pandemic-related measure<\/a> that extended the mail-in ballot deadline during the 2020 election. Republicans have challenged the new law.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Did Democrats Do in 2020?<\/h2>\n<p>As Democrats ramp up efforts to rig the 2024 election, many of the tactics deployed in 2020 haven\u2019t disappeared. The 2020 election was marred by both maladministration of election laws and flat-out sidestepping of said laws.<\/p>\n<p>Take <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/13\/wisconsins-left-led-supreme-court-could-bring-back-illegal-widespread-ballot-drop-boxes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wisconsin<\/a> for example, where Trump lost by roughly 20,000 votes, and where unelected officials expanded the use of ballot drop boxes during the 2020 election. Two years after the election, the state Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/07\/08\/wisconsin-supreme-court-drops-hammer-on-2020-election-shenanigans-ballot-drop-boxes-are-illegal-under-wisconsin-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ruled<\/a> those officials lacked the authority to usurp the legislature when it issued guidance permitting the expansion in direct contradiction to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/statutes\/statutes\/6\/iv\/87\/4\/b\/1\">state law<\/a>. Left-leaning cities like Milwaukee had more than a <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/wisconsin-absentee-ballots-drop-boxes-supreme-court-17a8a322d20e2562d23016e98978ad0b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dozen<\/a> of these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/20-episodes-exposing-fraud-illegalities-and-irregularities-in-the-2020-election\/\" title=\"20 Episodes Exposing Fraud, Illegalities, and Irregularities in the 2020 Election\">illegal ballot drop boxes<\/a>. Biden beat Trump by more than <a href=\"https:\/\/city.milwaukee.gov\/election\/ElectionInformation\/ElectionResults\/2020\/November\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">100,000 votes<\/a> in Milwaukee alone.<\/p>\n<p>Then there was Pennsylvania, where election officials <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/30\/court-stands-by-decision-rejecting-undated-pennsylvania-mail-ballots-in-blow-to-left-wing-activists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unlawfully permitted<\/a> the counting of ballots that were either missing a date or were incorrectly marked. \u201cThousands\u201d of such ballots were received in both the 2020 presidential election as well as the 2022 midterms, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/28\/appeals-court-upholds-pennsylvania-law-rejecting-undated-mail-ballots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ruling<\/a> from the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2020, many of these ballots were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wesa.fm\/politics-government\/2020-11-18\/allegheny-judge-rules-2-349-mail-in-ballots-must-be-counted#stream\/0%C2%A0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">counted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But it wasn\u2019t just overt manipulation of election laws that tilted the outcome of 2020. Big Tech also played a part, largely through its censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story and other stories that damaged Democrats. The New York Post first broke the laptop story weeks before the election, prompting Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms to throttle users\u2019 ability to share the story that had been falsely tagged as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/04\/disinfo-guru-to-voters-trust-corporate-media-instead-of-doing-your-own-research\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">disinformation<\/a>.\u201d Meanwhile, corporate media outlets like NPR flatly refused to cover the story.<\/p>\n<p>The FBI was <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/22\/fbi-knew-hunter-bidens-laptop-was-authentic-a-year-before-pressuring-big-tech-to-censor-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aware<\/a> of the laptop\u2019s authenticity in 2019 but still worked with Big Tech to cast a shadow of doubt on its legitimacy. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/30\/zuckerbergs-admission-of-fbi-meddling-in-2020-election-is-even-bigger-than-it-seems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told<\/a> podcast host Joe Rogan that federal authorities warned Facebook to \u201cbe on high alert\u201d due to a potential \u201cdump\u201d of \u201cRussian propaganda.\u201d Zuckerberg said Facebook then approached the laptop story as \u201cpotentially misinformation, important misinformation\u201d and subdued its reach.<\/p>\n<p>But <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/15\/bidenbucks-make-zuckbucks-look-like-chump-change\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zuckerberg\u2019s<\/a> impact on the 2020 election extends far past his tech platform\u2019s censorship of factual information. Zuckerberg and his wife dumped more than $400 million into the 2020 election \u2014 dubbed \u201cZuckbucks\u201d \u2014 that went disproportionately to blue areas of battleground states via left-wing nonprofits under the auspices of so<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/swing-states-have-a-long-way-to-go-to-safeguard-the-2024-election\/\" title=\"Swing states must do more to protect the 2024 election\">-called \u201csafe election\u201d grants<\/a>. As my colleague M.D. Kittle <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/01\/08\/swing-states-have-a-long-way-to-go-to-safeguard-the-2024-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>, \u201cin many cases the grant program was a privately funded get-out-the-vote campaign to drive swing-state Democrat voters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At least <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/02\/voters-prohibit-zuckbucks-style-private-funding-and-staff-from-wisconsin-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">28 states<\/a> \u2014 mostly red states but including swing states like Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania \u2014 have banned such private cash infusions from infiltrating their elections. But even without \u201cZuckbucks,\u201d other Democrat-aligned groups, like the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence, are working to interfere in local election administration. The Center for Tech and Civic Life \u2014 which partnered with Zuckerberg in 2020 to upend local election administration \u2014 is now working with the Alliance in their efforts.<\/p>\n<p>As my colleague Shawn Fleetwood <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/20\/inside-democrats-newest-election-takeover-scheme-report-unmasks-dark-money-group-youve-probably-never-heard-of\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explained<\/a>, \u201cexisting Zuckbucks bans wouldn\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/inside-democrats-newest-election-takeover-scheme-report-unmasks-dark-money-group-youve-probably-never-heard-of\/\" title=\"Inside Democrats\u2019 Newest Election Takeover Scheme: Report Unmasks \u2018Dark Money\u2019 Group You\u2019ve Probably Never Heard Of\">necessarily prevent local election departments<\/a> from contracting with the Alliance\u201d to get legal or political consulting or guidance on recruitment and training.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the tactics that were deployed in 2020 \u2014 or new versions of them \u2014 are still in effect. But now, they\u2019re coupled with blatant lawfare and the deployment of federal agencies to turn out votes for Biden.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1e363a991fc74aa2eef889031e34e319 fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1e363a991fc74aa2eef889031e34e319\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">    \t\t\t\t\t   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Democrats persist in enhancing election manipulation tactics post-2020.
