She was then ejected.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, hours after Chicago Bulls player Lonzo Ball offered to pay Reese\u2019s fine, the WNBA said the second technical was vanishing into the never-never land of things that happened but didn\u2019t, without offering an explanation, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/5543841\/2024\/06\/05\/angel-reese-technical-foul-rescinded-liberty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times.<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Another point about the WNBA:<\/p>\n<p>There were 3 games last night, two games tonight with 2 of the top teams in the league: the Aces and Lynx..<\/p>\n<p>But all folks are talking about is Angel Reese\u2019s foul and all the discourse about the league..<\/p>\n<p>Once we can get to the actual ball, we\u2019ll\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 PJ Green (@ByPJGreen) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ByPJGreen\/status\/1798469298534387884?\">June 5, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>  Reese\u2019s first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-angel-reese-throws-jab-caitlin-clark-cheap-shot-backlash-go-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technical foul<\/a> came because she \u201cdisrespectfully\u201d addressed official Charles Watson, lead official Maj Forsberg said after the game. The second foul was for waving her hand \u201cin resentment to\u201d the first call.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince these were two separate acts, the combination of two technicals resulted in Angel Reese being ejected from the game,\u201d Forsberg said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI tried to get an explanation. However, commentator Dan Patrick said that while Reese sells the sizzle of her personality, Clark is the reason the WNBA is a household name in 2024, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/sports\/dan-patrick-angel-reese-caitlin-clark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Outkick<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Reese\u2019s \u201cattention, her notoriety is based off Caitlin Clark because she wins the national title, the first thing she does is mock Caitlin Clark,\u201d Patrick said on his radio show. \u201cAnd then, she doesn\u2019t even celebrate with her teammates. So, she\u2019s made it personal with Caitlin Clark.
