Irvin highlighted\u200b safety issues during his time\u200b as a quality investigator at Boeing. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fbi-denies-purging-conservative-employees-in-letter-to-jim-jordan\/\" title=\"FBI Denies Purging Conservative Employees in Letter to Jim Jordan\">whistleblowers shared<\/a> their worries with the New York Post.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Two more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/whistleblowers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"whistleblowers\">Boeing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/whistleblowers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"whistleblowers\">whistleblowers<\/a> have come forward amid allegations of incompetence and cover-ups at the company following the deaths of two previous whistleblowers.<\/p>\n<p>Roy Irvin and Santiago Paredes have joined other whistleblowers in sounding the alarm on safety problems at Boeing, with the two sharing their concerns <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/06\/05\/us-news\/two-more-boeing-whistleblowers-go-public-over-plane-safety\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"with\">with<\/a> the <em>New York Post<\/em>. They allege that the company is fully aware of safety problems and not only refuses to address them, but retaliates against employees who try to sound the alarm.<\/p>\n<p>Irvin detailed the numerous safety problems he found while working as a quality investigator at Boeing from 2011 until 2017, investigating Boeing 787 Dreamliners.<\/p>\n<figure><figcaption>An airplane flies over a sign on Boeing\u2019s 737 delivery center, Oct. 19, 2015, at Boeing Field in Seattle. Warren, File)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cMissing safety devices on hardware or untightened hardware means that you\u2019re not going to be able to control the airplane if those fail,\u201d Irvin\u00a0said. \u201cThe safety device is on there. If the fastener is not secured correctly, it\u2019s going to fall off and you\u2019re not gonna be able to control the airplane.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that he had to be \u201cinsubordinate\u201d at times in order to actually get some of the problems addressed.<\/p>\n<p>Paredes, meanwhile, said that he saw hundreds of defects during his time as a quality manager.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was at the end of the production line and so I was supposed to be looking at the finished product before they shipped it to Boeing,\u201d he said. \u201cInstead I saw <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/insight-how-production-pressures-plunged-boeing-into-yet-another-crisis\/\" title=\"Boeing's latest crisis: Production pressures revealed\">missing parts<\/a>, incomplete parts, frames that had temporary clamps and missing fasteners, dents in the parts, damaged parts, cut rivets, issues that might occur but should be fixed before they got to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything I was seeing was like a ticking time bomb,\u201d Paredes added.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Brian Knowles, who is representing the two, reportedly said that over 20 whistleblowers have come forward, with many feeling an urge to after the deaths of two previous whistleblowers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost of the people we\u2019re hearing from are current employees,\u201d he said. \u201cThese are not disgruntled employees. In many cases they love the company.
