As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/tv\/cnn-legal-analyst-rejects-hunter-biden-defense-that-he-wasnt-using-drugs-on-the-same-day-he-filled-out-gun-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mediaite reported<\/a>, defense attorney Joey Jackson told anchors Evan Perez and Alisyn Camerota that the defense\u2019s argument \u2014 that because Biden was not high the day that he bought his firearm, he did not consider himself to be an \u201caddict\u201d \u2014 was not likely to hold up in court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe prosecution doesn\u2019t have any evidence that on the day he bought that firearm, that he was using drugs that day,\u201d Perez said, noting that the defense had been working hard to make sure the jury understood that. \u201cAs a matter of fact, all these text messages, all of the, a lot of the evidence that they have is from weeks and months before and after the purchase of the gun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cameron turned to Jackson then, asking whether the prosecution was under any obligation to \u201cprove that Hunter was using drugs on the day that he filled out that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ny-post-editorial-board-joe-biden-just-interfered-in-hunters-prosecution-on-national-tv\/\" title=\"NY Post Editorial Board: Joe Biden Just Interfered in Hunter\u2019s Prosecution on National TV\">federal gun form<\/a>?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSimple answer \u2014 Good morning, Alisyn \u2014 is no, right?
