Allen\u2019s clearance was <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/06\/04\/us-news\/fbi-agent-regains-security-clearance-wins-back-pay-after-retaliation-over-capitol-riot-claims\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revoked<\/a> over making <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/whistleblowers-accuse-fbi-of-padding-domestic-terrorism-stats-to-play-up-threat-report\/\" title=\"Whistleblowers Accuse FBI Of \u2018Padding\u2019 Domestic Terrorism Stats To Play Up Threat: Report\">protected disclosures<\/a> related to FBI Director Christopher Wray\u2019s testimony following the turmoil on Jan. 6, 2021. The FBI walked back its retaliation against Allen before the DOJ inspector general released a final report on the improper suspension.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-670363503\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-822f6dc914d8c64122246bc68eed72cf fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-822f6dc914d8c64122246bc68eed72cf\"><\/div>\n<p>The whistleblower protection group Empower Oversight sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/empowr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/2024-06-04-TL-to-DOJ-IG-Marcus-Allen.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">letter<\/a> to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz on Tuesday calling on investigators to release their findings despite Allen\u2019s settlement with the FBI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor 27 months, Mr. Allen and his family had to survive on early withdrawals from their retirement accounts in order to continue administratively challenging the FBI\u2019s improper revocation of his security clearance,\u201d Empower Oversight President Tristan Leavitt wrote. \u201cFor 13 of those months Mr. Allen also waited on your office to complete and report on its investigation into the FBI\u2019s abuse of the security clearance process to retaliate against him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Allen waited for the inspector general\u2019s office to review his case, the FBI denied his requests to seek other employment or accept public charity. Despite no pay and no duties from the Bureau for more than two years, Allen remained subject to gift rules for public officials under his suspension status. <\/p>\n<p>According to Leavitt, Allen has since \u201cvoluntarily resigned, pursuant to a settlement agreement with the FBI that includes full restoration of his pay and benefits for the entire 27 months of his suspension.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-fb20bc4ab843c60d76f6185fdbef8605 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-fb20bc4ab843c60d76f6185fdbef8605\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cAlthough he also agreed to withdraw his complaints to your office and is no longer employed with the Bureau,\u201d Leavitt wrote, \u201cAllen believes that the public and the FBI\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/top-house-gop-request-meeting-with-kamala-harris-over-border-catastrophe\/\" title=\"Top House GOP request meeting with Kamala Harris over border \u2018catastrophe\u2019\">oversight committees<\/a> in Congress must learn the facts discovered during your extensive inquiry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI\u2019s decision to reinstate his clearance occurred before your office reported on the findings of its investigation, but that should not be an excuse to sweep it all under the rug,\u201d Leavitt added. <\/p>\n<p>House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, characterized Allen\u2019s clearance reinstatement as \u201ca total vindication for a great patriot\u201d in a Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/judiciary.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/chairman-jordan-statement-reinstatement-marcus-allens-security-clearance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarcus bravely stood up to expose misconduct at the FBI, despite attacks from FBI bureaucrats and congressional Democrats,\u201d Jordan said. The Ohio lawmaker went on to demand the Bureau \u201calso reinstate the security clearances of whistleblowers Garret O\u2019Boyle and Stephen Friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-ae2268c6d1ea3f7ce5068dfd75e782bc fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-ae2268c6d1ea3f7ce5068dfd75e782bc\"><\/div>\n<p>O\u2019Boyle and Friend similarly suffered agency <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/whistleblower-willing-homeless-hands-fbi-speak-out\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">retaliation<\/a> for blowing the whistle on the weaponization of the FBI by far-left ideologues. O\u2019Boyle told Congress the federal intelligence agency moved him from the Great Plains to Washington, D.C., where he was suspended on his first day following protected disclosures to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. O\u2019Boyle said the FBI had been designating white supremacy as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/after-calling-china-the-top-geopolitical-threat-biden-lets-beijing-off-the-hook\/\" title=\"After Calling China the Top Geopolitical Threat, Biden Lets Beijing Off The Hook\">top national security threat<\/a> in order to justify broad surveillance.<\/p>\n<p>Friend also suffered agency retaliation for objections made to the FBI\u2019s response to suspects from the Capitol riot on Jan. 6. Friend told lawmakers the FBI deployed a SWAT team to arrest such an individual in the Orlando area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve arrested over 150 violent criminals in my career, I\u2019ve never required a SWAT team to do it,\u201d Friend said during a congressional hearing. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that Garrett and myself and Marcus Allen, we brought the information, certainly the Republicans on the committee were very receptive to that information.
