An earlier version of this article described the location of their protest incorrectly. The headline has also been changed to better reflect her actions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>America\u2019s two-tiered justice system continues to rear its ugly head.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/us\/activists-who-blocked-dc-abortion-clinic-get-combined-23-years-in-prison\/ar-BB1nq2ZT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Examiner<\/a>, 75-year-old Paulette Harlow was sentenced on Friday by Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly to two years in prison for praying inside a Washington D.C. abortion clinic four years ago.<\/p>\n<p>According to the pro-life group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/elderly-prolifers-husband-begs-mercy-prison\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Live Action<\/a>, Harlow\u2019s husband, John, delivered a statement to the court declaring he feared his wife would die behind bars without his care.<\/p>\n<p>Kollar-Kotelly\u2019s response, from Live Action\u2019s report, can only be described as a taunt; she said she hoped Harlow would \u201cmake an effort to remain alive\u201d as it was a \u201ctenet of [Harlow\u2019s] religion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harlow, along with other pro-life activists, went to the Washington Surgi-clinic on Oct. 22, 2020, day to pray the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/childrens-show-host-invites-dylan-mulvaney-songs-littles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">children<\/a> of those expecting mothers who were seeking to end their lives would be saved. According to an <a href=\"https:\/\/wjla.com\/news\/local\/anti-abortion-activist-who-led-a-clinic-blockade-is-sentenced-to-nearly-5-years-in-prison-lauren-handy-fetus-discovered-police-surgi-clinic-protest-pro-life\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Associated Press<\/a> report from the time, the activists occupied the clinic\u2019s waiting room, blocking entrances to areas where the procedure was performed.<\/p>\n<p>A total of nine activists, including Harlow, were arrested on charges of violating the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/103rd-congress\/senate-bill\/636\/text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Under the act, one cannot engage in, \u201cviolent, threatening, damaging, and obstructive conduct intended to injure, intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain, or provide reproductive health services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You can see police making the arrests of the pro-life activists below.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Here is a video of the protest this poor woman is going to prison for. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xDcchPfQ7R\">pic.twitter.com\/xDcchPfQ7R<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Joel Berry (@JoelWBerry) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoelWBerry\/status\/1797623393912758415?\">June 3, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-dc\/pr\/final-defendant-sentenced-federal-civil-rights-conspiracy-and-freedom-access-clinic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement Friday<\/a>, the DOJ described the events surrounding Harlow\u2019s arrest, stating that she and fellow protesters \u201cforcefully entered the clinic and set about blockading two clinic doors using their bodies, furniture, chains, and ropes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce the blockade was established, they live-streamed their activities. The evidence also showed that the defendants violated the FACE Act by using a physical obstruction to injure, intimidate and interfere with the clinic\u2019s employees and a patient, because they were providing or obtaining reproductive health services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/seven-defendants-sentenced-federal-conspiracy-against-rights-and-freedom-access-clinic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">May 15 statement<\/a>, following the sentencing of seven of Harlow\u2019s co-defendants, the DOJ vowed to protect \u201creproductive health care.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe seven defendants executed an extensive blockade of a reproductive care clinic, including faking a patient appointment to enter the facility,\u201d Assistant Director Michael Nordwall of the FBI\u2019s Criminal Investigative Division said in the statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFACE Act violations are distressing to anyone attempting to safely access reproductive healthcare, and, in this case, unfortunately resulted in the physical injury of a nurse. The FBI continues our work to ensure everyone has unimpeded access to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pro-life-facilities-are-under-attack-a-top-doj-official-called-them-fake-clinics\/\" title=\"Pro-Life Facilities Are Under Attack. A Top DOJ Official Called Them \u2018Fake Clinics.\u2019\u00a0\">reproductive health care facilities<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Justice Department will continue to protect both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-sentences-75-year-old-woman-for-praying-at-abortion-clinic-taunts-horrified-husband-for-christian-faith-report\/\" title=\"A 75-year-old woman sentenced for praying at abortion clinic, taunts husband for his Christian faith: Report\">patients seeking reproductive health services<\/a> and providers of those services. We will hold accountable those who seek to interfere with access to reproductive health services in our country,\u201d Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department\u2019s Civil Rights Division said in the statement.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Should Paulette Harlow be freed?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The DOJ will approach protesters with zeal and efficiency when it\u2019s in the name of \u201creproductive health.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Why can\u2019t it be bothered to go after countless left-wing activists who plague our streets and harass us with destruction of property, violence, and murder?<\/p>\n<p>When rioters and terrorists take to the streets, they are celebrated as champions of all that is good.<\/p>\n<p>Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters infamously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ethics-complaint-waters-violence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told her supporters<\/a> to harass the Trump administration officials in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, the country saw countless examples of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/blms-mostly-peaceful-riots-cost-1000x-damage-jan-6-capitol-unrest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black Lives Matter<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/official-says-antifa-planning-anti-government-insurgency-long-george-floyd-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">antifa<\/a> terrorism after George Floyd\u2019s death as anyone looting, destroying, assaulting, and even killing was defended for expressing supposed righteous indignation over Floyd\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>Not only politicians, but establishment media outlets bent over backward for these people. Remember <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/cnn-mocked-labeling-kenosha-mostly-peaceful-footage-showed-opposite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN captioning<\/a> footage in Kenosha, Wisconsin, as \u201cfiery but mostly peaceful\u201d as buildings burned?<\/p>\n<p>These are the real criminals the DOJ should pursue. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidens-america-praying-pro-lifers-may-face-prison-time-pro-abortion-fire-bomber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Americans praying<\/a> that children are not murdered should not land high on its list of priorities.<\/p>\n<p>Harlow\u2019s case is a travesty and only further proves the U.S. justice system, in the hands of progressive Democrats, hates conservative values.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>I heard a chilling comment the other day: \u201cWe don\u2019t even know if an election will be held in 2024.\u201d <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>That wasn\u2019t said by a conspiracy theorist or a doomsday prophet.
