The surge \u2063in illegal immigration \u2063under \u2064Biden&#8217;s\u2064 presidency has reached unprecedented \u2062levels, \u200dwith millions of encounters and estimated \u2063illegal immigrant gotaways\u2064 recorded.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/joe-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joe Biden<\/a> denied responsibility for the drastic, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/man-with-5-pounds-of-fentanyl-on-his-body-caught-at-arizona-border-check\/\" title=\"Man with 5 Pounds of Fentanyl on His Body Caught at Arizona Border Check\">record-breaking increase<\/a> in illegal immigration that has occurred under his administration in a recent interview.<\/p>\n<p>Biden denied responsibility for the border crisis in <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/6984968\/joe-biden-transcript-2024-interview\/\">an interview<\/a> with Time Magazine, where the incumbent Democrat president was questioned about the critical issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnother of your first acts as President under the banner of value-based leadership was to lift various punitive Trump-era immigration measures, Mr. President, that you and others said were inhumane,\u201d a reporter with Time Magazine stated, prefacing a question. \u201cIn retrospect, do you think those humanitarian moves helped drive record illegal border crossing?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden simply responded \u201cno\u201d before being asked, \u201cWere you wrong to lift any of those measures?\u201d The Democrat president responded, \u201cIf I was wrong, it\u2019s because I took too long,\u201d doubling down on his record on immigration.<\/p>\n<p>Mass illegal immigration has surged to unprecedented levels under Biden, even driving the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-admin-canceled-350000-asylum-claims-offering-migrants-mass-amnesty\/\" title=\"Biden Administration Cancels 350,000 Asylum Claims, Providing Migrants with 'Mass Amnesty\">foreign-born population residing<\/a> in the United States to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/foreign-born-population-hits-new-high-with-surge-under-biden-fueled-by-illegal-immigration\">never-before-seen high<\/a> of 51.6 million in March of this year. Officials have recorded over 9.5 million <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/newsroom\/stats\/nationwide-encounters\">nationwide encounters<\/a> and 1.7 million <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/biden-admin-may-have-lost-track-millions-of-migrants-crossing-southern-border-congressional-report\">estimated illegal immigrant gotaways<\/a> under the Democrat\u2019s term.<\/p>\n<p>The President has taken a number of different actions that critics say are to blame for the drastic surge. Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/general-news-political-news-bc664278ac096e6ff878116034ec06bb\">halted the construction of the border wall<\/a> via executive order on his very first day in office. He later went on to end Trump\u2019s \u201cRemain in Mexico\u201d policy that ordered some asylum seekers to stay in Mexico as they awaited their legal proceedings.
