Whitmer, Media Caught in Another Lie - Anarchist Arrested For Plot to Kidnap and Kill Whitmer Hates President Trump, 'Trump is a Tyrant' (VIDEO)\">federal agencies<\/a>, sparking debates \u200con its\u2062 legality \u2063and partisanship.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<figure>                         <\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Biden administration is squandering federal agencies\u2019 limited resources to bolster <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fridays-fun-fraud-fact-mysterious-spike-in-incomplete-nv-voter-registrations-13372-with-invalid-birthdates-and-casinos-and-temporary-rv-parks-as-a-home-address\/\" title=\"FRIDAY'S FUN FRAUD FACT: Mysterious Spike in Incomplete NV Voter Registrations - 13,372 with Invalid Birthdates and Casinos and Temporary RV Parks as a Home Address\">voter registration<\/a> among Democrat-targeted groups in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-more-votes-than-voters-in-key-swing-states\/\" title=\"Trump: More Votes Than Voters in Key Swing States\">key swing states<\/a>, highlighted a congressional hearing Tuesday morning. <\/p>\n<p>The House Committee on Small Business heard from four witnesses on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/megadonors-pour-record-amount-of-money-into-get-out-the-vote-effort-for-dems\/\" title=\"Megadonors Pour Record Amount of Money Into \u2018Get Out the Vote\u2019 Effort for Dems\">voter registration efforts<\/a> of the Small Business Administration. Those efforts stem from President Biden\u2019s Executive Order 14019 commandeering federal agencies to target \u201cunderserved populations\u201d for voter drives, according to Steward Whitson, senior director of federal affairs at the Foundation for Government Accountability. <\/p>\n<p>The White House asserts that its use of federal agencies to promote voter registration efforts that target majority-Democrat demographics is \u201cbipartisan.\u201d In the hearing, Rep. Pete Stauber, R-Colo., pushed back on that claim. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoughly 91% of Michigan voters are registered to vote, with small business owners more likely to vote than the general population,\u201d Stauber said. \u201cIf the purpose of the executive order is to register voters on a nonpartisan basis, why didn\u2019t the SBA enter into an <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/29\/bidenbucks-tentacles-expand-as-judge-shuts-down-lawsuit\/\">MOU<\/a> with states that have lower voter registration than Michigan?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Stauber also declared, \u201cThrough our investigation, this committee has uncovered that the majority of SBA events have occurred in the southern portion of Michigan, mainly in Democratic strongholds. That is crystal clear to the American people.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Colloquially known as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/16\/republicans-to-small-business-administration-on-bidenbucks-coverup-stop-stonewalling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bidenbucks<\/a>,\u201d the order delegates voter registration duties to various federal agencies. Besides SBA, these include the Department of Agriculture, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Department of Labor, according to Whitson. <\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s \u201cunethical and illegal\u201d order potentially violates the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/jmd\/legacy\/2014\/05\/01\/act-pl79-404.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Administrative Procedure Act<\/a> and the U.S. Constitution, which leaves the time, manner, and place of election activities up to the states, Whitson said in his testimony.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Danetz, an advisor with Lisa Danetz Consulting and witness for committee Democrats, vehemently denied Whitson\u2019s constitutional concern. She claimed Biden\u2019s order executes the duties spelled out in the National Voting Rights Act. She said any efforts from the Biden administration to register voters is inherently nonpartisan, brushing aside Republican points that these efforts are targeting Democrat-voting localities and demographics.<\/p>\n<p>A federal case filed in Pennsylvania deals with Dantez\u2019s point exactly, explaining that Biden\u2019s executive order <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/16\/republicans-to-small-business-administration-on-bidenbucks-coverup-stop-stonewalling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">violates<\/a> a state\u2019s constitutional right to carry out an election without any federal interference.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they truly wanted to help small businesses like they say, they would have gone into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where per capita there are more small businesses,\u201d Stauber said. \u201cBut that\u2019s red country, that\u2019s Republican up there. This is clearly for political purposes.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The hearing also detailed the gross overreach from the administration\u2019 funding of these get-out-the-vote activities. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer,\u00a0R-Mo., asked Whitson about the constitutionality of this spending. Whitson replied the administration is unlawfully spending money without congressional approval. <\/p>\n<p>Elaine Parker, president of the Job Creators Network Foundation, was disgusted with the SBA\u2019s reach into voter activities, and said that sharply deviated from its mission: \u201cOur small business owners have not registered that in any way, shape, or form,\u201d Parker said. \u201cWhat they talk about to us is the credit crunch, inflation, and issues like that. The onslaught of regulations that are killing them.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Stauber echoed the sentiment. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot once has a small business owner come up to me and said the way to improve their business struggles is through increasing voter registration,\u201d said Stauber. \u201cThey usually reference topics like inflation, workforce issues, and overburdensome regulations. All issues that have become worse under this current administration.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales testified he would never work with the SBA on any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/not-so-private-messaging-facebook-announces-fact-checking-in-whatsapp-for-french-election\/\" title=\"Not So Private Messaging: Facebook Announces 'Fact Checking' in WhatsApp For French Election\">election-related issues<\/a>, only situations that pertain to small businesses and helping the small business owners in his state. The Indiana state department is responsible for business registrations and oversight, in addition to voter registration.<\/p>\n<p>Morales runs robust voter registration efforts in Indiana without any need for federal involvement, he said. He travels to all 92 counties in Indiana with his team, working booths at local fairs and events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s frankly un-American that the SBA would turn themselves into an arm of the Biden campaign under the guise of \u2018small business outreach\u2019 targeting swing state voters\u201d Rep.
