Now we can add Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and James Madison to Biden\u2019s detractors.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Biden\u2019s Latest Un-American, Tyrannical Pronouncement<\/h2>\n<p>Biden\u2019s latest consequential error came in his comments about the verdict in <em>The People of the State of New York v. Donald J. Trump<\/em> case and Trump\u2019s (and much of the public\u2019s) reaction to that verdict. Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/biden-criticism-trump-jury-verdict-is-dangerous-irresponsible-2024-05-31\/#:~:text=The%20U.S.%20justice%20system%20has,the%20verdict%2C%22%20Biden%20said.\">fumed<\/a> that it is \u201creckless, it\u2019s dangerous, it\u2019s irresponsible for anyone to say that this was rigged just because they don\u2019t like the verdict.\u201d     <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-31882612\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-0a1b609134b5839bc0f162aced2801d4 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-0a1b609134b5839bc0f162aced2801d4\"><\/div>\n<p>In fact, the opposite is true. It is necessary, healthy, and responsible (in the quintessential sense of American responsibility) for people to speak out when they do not agree with the government\u2019s exercise of prosecutorial power.<\/p>\n<p>This is particularly true and applicable when the defendant being prosecuted also happens to be the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kjp-grilled-by-peter-doocy-over-lack-of-white-house-comment-on-trump-arrest\/\" title=\"KJP Grilled by Peter Doocy Over Lack of White House Comment on Trump Arrest\">leading opposition candidate<\/a> in a campaign for the highest political office in the land. The same holds true for candidates (and their supporters) who claim an election was manipulated.<\/p>\n<p>The day candidates and their supporters lose the right to speak out about the conduct of prosecutions or elections is the day we lose our freedom. But the situation is substantially more fragile than that. The day that candidates and their supporters lose their <em>willingness<\/em> to speak out about the conduct of prosecutions and elections is the day we <em>become certain<\/em> <em>to eventually lose our freedom<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s intimidating remarks were squarely aimed at undermining such willingness. It is Biden\u2019s remarks that are reckless, dangerous, and irresponsible, particularly coming from a president. A government\u2019s best \u2014 and only \u2014 path for gaining the confidence of the people is to show the people <em>why they should have confidence<\/em>, not to call the people\u2019s inquiries \u201creckless, dangerous, and irresponsible.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-e356bb62c75aa2b2ff084d92ed0eacf1 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-e356bb62c75aa2b2ff084d92ed0eacf1\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jefferson, Franklin, and Madison Didn\u2019t Want to Live in Biden\u2019s World<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There are plenty of places where defendants may not claim their trials were rigged or where candidates may not claim their elections were stolen: China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela, to name a few. The history books are also littered with descriptions of such places, like the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. I don\u2019t want to live in places like that. Neither did Jefferson, Franklin, or Madison. Neither should you.<\/p>\n<p>America was founded on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/no-biden-its-reckless-dangerous-and-irresponsible-not-to-challenge-unjust-verdicts\/\" title=\"Biden Should Challenge Unjust Verdicts - It's Reckless and Dangerous\">principle \u2014 albeit politically unique<\/a> at the time \u2014 that you get to the right answer by hearing every point of view. As <a href=\"https:\/\/founders.archives.gov\/documents\/Jefferson\/03-08-02-0270-0002\">Thomas Jefferson<\/a> put it: \u201cDifference of opinion leads to inquiry, and inquiry to truth.\u201d The founders rightly understood this to be true. But <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azquotes.com\/quote\/355420\">Benjamin Franklin<\/a> is credited for taking this concept to a higher level with respect to government-sponsored \u201ctruths\u201d by explaining: \u201cIt is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Sadly, Joe Biden, and many in the Democrat Party, have not endorsed or adopted these principles of government. That\u2019s how you end up with \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/05\/02\/politics\/dhs-disinformation-board\/index.html\">Disinformation Governance Boards<\/a>,\u201d government\/Big Tech <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/facebook-bowed-to-white-house-pressure-removed-covid-posts-2df436b7\">censorship programs<\/a>, and similar nonsense like Biden\u2019s recent remarks. The American left operates on the principle \u2014 against which <a href=\"http:\/\/educ.jmu.edu\/~sochacjs\/JamesMadisonQuotes.htm\">James Madison<\/a> once warned \u2014 that the deprivation of freedom is most easily accomplished through baby steps: \u201cThere are more instances of the abridgment of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And although I rarely agree with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., we see eye-to-eye on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Maher\/videos\/liberal-censorship\/192103493827459\/\">this point<\/a>: \u201cThere is no time in history where the people censoring free speech were the good guys.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-ad460206af16443752a1a850cf41620b fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-ad460206af16443752a1a850cf41620b\"><\/div>\n<p>It is therefore obvious that neither the desire to speak out about a prosecution or election, nor the act of speaking out, is reckless, dangerous, or irresponsible in America. On the contrary, those things are part and parcel of being American. It is every American\u2019s first responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, I understand and respect that Biden also was exercising his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/justice-thomas-suggests-section-230-may-be-unconstitutional\/\" title=\"Justice Thomas Suggests Section 230 May Be Unconstitutional\">free-speech rights<\/a> in making his baseless statement. I encourage more, not less, speech from the man so that every American can get a greater insight into how foolish and dangerous he actually is.
