Giuliani\u2063 alleged \u200bthat some county \u200cboards illegally boosted Biden&#8217;s votes, without\u200d providing factual support for his assertions.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_79\">\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/washington-dc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>District of Columbia<\/a> Bar\u2019s Board on Professional Responsibility recommended Friday that former Trump attorney <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/rudy-giuliani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Rudy Giuliani<\/a> be stripped of his license to practice <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>law<\/a> in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>The board cited claims Giuliani made about election fraud in a Pennsylvania lawsuit after Joe Biden defeated then-President Donald Trump in 2020. Among the allegations he made was that some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/its-happening-pennsylvania-state-legislature-files-resolution-disputes-statewide-2020-election-results\/\" title=\"It's Happening: Pennsylvania State Legislature Files Resolution -- DISPUTES STATEWIDE 2020 ELECTION RESULTS\">county boards<\/a> of elections \u201c[stuffed] the ballot box\u201d with illegal votes for Biden, who won the state by just over 80,000 votes.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani \u201cproffered no facts to support the claims he made and his opinion that election impropriety occurred does not meet the requirements for filing a lawsuit,\u201d according to the board. \u201cGiven this, after an objective appraisal of the merits, a reasonable lawyer would have concluded that there was not a faint hope of success of prevailing on the argument that the Defendants engaged in a scheme to steal the Pennsylvania election by counting defective ballots, or that the observational barriers were used to avoid detection of the alleged scheme.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Board members agreed with an ad hoc hearing committee that recommended Giuliani\u2019s disbarment last year. That <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/you-all-are-morons-george-washington-university-dumps-colonials-nickname\/\" title=\"\u2018You All Are Morons\u2019: George Washington University Dumps \u2018Colonials\u2019 Nickname\">committee determined<\/a> that he \u201cforfeited his right to practice law\u201d by prosecuting that \u201cdestructive case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe conclude that disbarment is the only sanction that will protect the public, the courts, and the integrity of the legal profession, and deter other lawyers from launching similarly baseless claims in the pursuit of such wide-ranging yet completely unjustified relief,\u201d board members wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani spokesman Ted Goodman said in a statement that disbarring the former New York mayor is \u201cmeant to discourage lawyers from representing clients like President Donald Trump or anyone else who is willing to take on the prevailing political establishment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The recommendation \u201ccomes as no surprise as partisan Democrats continue to destroy the credibility of the American justice system all in an effort to beat President Trump and to hold onto power,\u201d Goodman said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Though Giuliani has been recommended for disbarment, the D.C.
