The former president was found guilty on all 34 charges brought in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-judge-sets-date-for-trumps-first-criminal-trial\/\" title=\"Trump's initial criminal trial date fixed by New York judge\">hush-money trial<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe best revenge is success. If you want a justice system that doesn\u2019t elect a District Attorney who promises to go after a political opponent, then you need to win at the ballot box,\u201d Gowdy said. \u201cAlvin Bragg, name me another crime that he\u2019s gotten really, really excited about. It\u2019s not shoplifting, it\u2019s not stealing, it\u2019s not hitting people on the street, it is alleged hush-money to keep someone quiet about a sexual encounter. That\u2019s what really gets his attention.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Even CNN\u2019s top legal expert Elie Honig <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/top-cnn-legal-expert-shreds-manhattan-trump-case-was-created-just-to-get-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dismantled<\/a> the case this week following the verdict, saying that just because the jury convicted Trump on all 34 felony counts does, it not mean that justice was carried out because the case should have never been brought.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth of these things can be true at once: The jury did its job, and this case was an ill-conceived, unjustified mess,\u201d he said. \u201cSure, victory is the great deodorant, but a guilty verdict doesn\u2019t make it all pure and right.
