Gov. Mark Robinson, a candidate for governor, said, \u201cThe Democrats know they can\u2019t beat President Trump at the polls so they weaponize our government against him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Republican Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger didn\u2019t comment but did retweet the Republican State Leadership Committee. It said, \u201cThe American people will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecentersquare.com\/national\/article_ea8fca74-1c34-11ef-9481-8f60029289e5.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>see today for exactly what it is<\/strong><\/a>, the left weaponizing our legal system against President Trump. Joe Biden and Democrats can\u2019t win on policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Republican House Speaker Tim Moore said, \u201cToday\u2019s verdict is an affront to justice and to our country as we know it. Democrats are terrified of President Trump and know they cannot beat him in November.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Late Thursday night, statements or social posts were not found for Democratic Gov.
