Recent surveys reveal Nevada and Pennsylvania as the top \u2062states where Senate Democrats outshine \u200dBiden.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Senate Democratic candidates are faring better in presidential battleground states than President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Joe Biden\">Joe Biden<\/a> as the party fights to maintain its razor-thin, one-seat majority.<\/p>\n<p>The results, while early in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"general election\">general election<\/a> cycle, bode well for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/senate-democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"general election\">Senate Democrats<\/a> but come with a warning: Biden could drag them down at the ballot box.<\/p>\n<p>One of the biggest reasons is incumbent name recognition, per Amy Walter, publisher and editor-in-chief of the nonpartisan election forecaster <em>Cook Political Report<\/em>. Democratic candidates in swing states with open Senate seats are outperforming Biden by a smaller margin than incumbents.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the top three states where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/senate-democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Senate Democrats\">Senate Democrats<\/a> are outpacing Biden the most, according to recent surveys from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookpolitical.com\/survey-research\/2024-swing-state-project?utm_medium=email_action&#038;utm_source=customer.io\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Cook Political Report\"><em>Cook Political Report<\/em><\/a>  conducted in partnership with polling firms BSG and GS Strategy Group.<\/p>\n<h2>Nevada<\/h2>\n<p>Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) is running for a second term and will face off against the winner of the June 11 Republican primary. Former Army Capt. Sam Brown is heavily favored to win against Jeff Gunter, a dermatologist who served as former President Donald Trump\u2019s ambassador to Iceland.<\/p>\n<p>Rosen\u2019s polling fares 8 percentage points better than that of Biden, with 48%-41% against an unnamed Republican opponent. The president is at just 40% to Trump\u2019s 49%.<\/p>\n<h2>Pennsylvania<\/h2>\n<p>In Biden\u2019s birth state, Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) is seeking a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trump-endorses-hungarys-pm-viktor-orban-for-reelection\/\" title=\"Donald Trump Endorses Hungary's PM Viktor Orban for Reelection\">fourth consecutive term<\/a> against Trump-backed Republican nominee David McCormick.<\/p>\n<p>Casey\u2019s support is 4 percentage points ahead of the president\u2019s. Casey was 49%-41% against McCormick compared to Biden\u2019s 45% to Trump\u2019s 48%.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the vulnerability, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/congressional\/3021293\/democrat-bob-casey-stumps-biden-despite-lagging-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Casey stumped with Biden\">Casey stumped with Biden<\/a> on the campaign trail Wednesday as the president and Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled a new initiative in Philadelphia aimed at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-under-pressure-with-black-voters-in-key-state-he-would-have-a-big-problem\/\" title=\"Biden faces black voter pressure in crucial state: 'A major concern'\">energizing black voters<\/a>. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) is running for a third consecutive term and will face the winner of the Aug. 13 GOP primary. Businessman Eric Hovde, who is endorsed by Trump, is heavily favored to clinch the nomination.<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin\u2019s polling bests Biden\u2019s by 4 percentage points.
