Despite \u206334 felony charges, the post-verdict poll shows a notable rise in \u200cTrump&#8217;s favorability. \u200dVoter feedback signals a shift towards a more\u200d positive perception\u2064 of Trump, hinting at a \u200bshift in \u2063public\u200c sentiment.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<header> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/commentary\/\">  Commentary <\/a>  <\/p>\n<h2>Initial Post-Verdict Poll Will Have Democrats Screaming in Terror<\/h2>\n<p> <span> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/ccavanaugh\/\">  <\/a> <\/p>\n<p> <span>   By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/ccavanaugh\/%20\"><span>Connor Cavanaugh<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   May 31, 2024 at 2:28pm <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>Enthusiasm for former President Donald Trump among the populace seems completely unaffected by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-advances-student-loan-safety-net-program-while-forgiveness-scheme-awaits-fate-before-scotus\/\" title=\"Biden Advances \"Student Loan Safety Net\" Program While Forgiveness Scheme Awaits Fate Before SCOTUS\">ongoing legal issues<\/a> that Democrats have forced upon him.<\/p>\n<p>If anything, there appears to be a trend that each time he is unjustly pursued by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/must-watch-megyn-kelly-gives-democrats-brutal-warning-celebrating-trump-conviction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Democrats<\/a> abusing the justice system, more people simply rally behind him.<\/p>\n<p>After Trump was declared guilty on 34 felony counts, he\u2019s seen perhaps the biggest boost of them all in the form of a six-point jump in favorability, according to a poll from JL Partners first reported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-13480491\/donald-trump-verdict-guilty-poll-positive.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s worth noting that the poll has a relatively <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/attorneys-for-trailing-democrat-candidate-claim-voting-machine-count-errors\/\" title=\"Attorneys For Trailing Democrat Candidate Claim Voting Machine Count \u2018Errors\u2019\">small sample size<\/a>, only getting 400 likely voters to provide feedback, but it very well could show how the future may look.<\/p>\n<p>As the Daily Mail reported, 22 percent said they view Trump more positively after the trial. That exceeds the 16 percent who said they now view him in a more negative light.<\/p>\n<p>Trump appears to have gained an additional six percent of voters viewing him more favorably after the trial.<\/p>\n<p>In the poll, 27 percent said they already viewed him positively and had no change in their opinion, while 32 percent said they already viewed him negatively.<\/p>\n<p>If we consider the numbers as a whole, that means before this trial, the plurality of people viewed him negatively, but after it, the plurality may now view him positively.<\/p>\n<p>The responses provided by the likely voters perfectly explain why.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Will Trump\u2019s approval continue to rise in the wake of this verdict?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI think it was a waste of taxpayer money and will help propel Trump to a victory,\u201d said a 42-year-old from Illinois who previously voted for Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just think it was a railroad job, even though I am not a fan of Trump. It\u2019s totally ludicrous,\u201d said an Arizona voter who also voted for Biden.<\/p>\n<p>While of course there were people who didn\u2019t share this view, the net result only helps the former president.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not surprising either: nearly every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-beats-biden-4-national-polls-despite-indicted-skipping-gop-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">action taken by Democrats<\/a> to ruin Trump has instead <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rfk-jr-sends-democrats-warning-trump-verdict-conviction-going-backfire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">increased his popularity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As Democrats continue to pile on more ridiculous accusations and charges against Trump, his image as a fighter against the establishment grows stronger.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, they\u2019ve continued to come after him, ignoring how much it\u2019s backfired on them.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the verdict just happened and the poll only was able to get a limited sample size, so the results may not be entirely set in stone.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, it\u2019s certainly given everyone a good idea of where public opinion may be trending.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>\u201cWe don\u2019t even know if an election will be held in 2024.\u201d Those 12 words have been stuck in my head since I first read them. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>Former Lt.
