Critics criticized Biden for his perceived inconsistency \u200bin respecting the law, referring to his \u2063actions\u200d regarding student loan forgiveness despite a\u200d Supreme Court decision.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Joe Biden\">Joe Biden<\/a> weighed in on former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Joe Biden\">Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s guilty verdict Friday afternoon, saying justice was served and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3024510\/trump-guilty-verdict-not-rigged-biden-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Joe Biden\">should be respected<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s reckless, it\u2019s dangerous, and it\u2019s irresponsible for anyone to say this was rigged just because they don\u2019t like the verdict,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3024510\/trump-guilty-verdict-not-rigged-biden-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Biden said\">Biden said<\/a> from the White House. \u201cOur justice system has endured for nearly 250 years, and it literally is the cornerstone of America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe justice system should be respected, and we should never allow anyone to tear it down,\u201d Biden continued. \u201cIt\u2019s as simple as that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s critics say it\u2019s not so simple, with several pointing to the president\u2019s words and actions regarding a verdict he didn\u2019t appreciate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden claims that \u2018the justice system should be respected,\u2019 but apparently he only means it regarding Trump,\u201d Job Creators Network Foundation President Elaine Parker said. \u201cWhen the Supreme Court struck down his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/student-loans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"student loan giveaway\">student loan giveaway<\/a> scheme, Biden ignored the law and gave away billions in an effort to buy votes from college grads. Respect is the last thing that Biden has shown to the law or to the taxpayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many pointed to a post on X Biden sent out the day before the Trump verdict was reached in which the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/successful-failure-biden-takes-credit-blames-trump-for-afghanistan\/\" title=\"Successful Failure: Biden Takes Credit, Blames Trump for Afghanistan\">president bragged<\/a> about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-biden-public-colleges-and-universities-are-going-to-be-tuition-free-for-families-earning-less-than-125000-video\/\" title=\"Joe Biden: \u201cPublic Colleges and Universities Are Going to be Tuition-Free For Families Earning Less Than 5,000\u201d (VIDEO)\">forgiving student loans<\/a> even after the Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/1533584\/supreme-court-strikes-down-bidens-costly-student-loan-relief-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"ruled\">ruled<\/a> it is illegal for him to do so without Congress.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<div>\n<blockquote data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<div lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>The Supreme Court tried to block me from relieving student debt. The nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crfb.org\/blogs\/total-cost-student-debt-cancellation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">estimates<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-cancels-student-loans-for-art-students-as-total-cost-of-forgiveness-could-exceed-1-trillion\/\" title=\"Biden forgives art student loans due to high forgiveness costs\">combined total cost<\/a> to taxpayers for those programs could reach $1.4 trillion.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, Biden strongly defended the Trump verdict Friday, saying it was the end result of a fair process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrump was given every opportunity to defend himself.
