McCarthy, The Washington Stand<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   May 31, 2024 at 9:04am <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>In June, leftists around the world will be celebrating their holiest season, \u201cPride Month.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the Pelican State, though, a group of Catholic men are preparing a prayer rally to reclaim their town from the LGBT agenda.<\/p>\n<p>An organization called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.queernorthshore.org\/calendar\/northshore-pride-parade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Queer Northshore<\/a> will be hosting Mandeville, Louisiana\u2019s first-ever \u201cPride\u201d parade on Saturday. In response, the Catholic men\u2019s group La Nouvelle Vend\u00e9e is organizing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/cry-america-prayer-rallies-take-place-state-capitols\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prayer rally<\/a> along the route the \u201cPride\u201d marchers plan to take.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis seems to be an offensive maneuver on a location known for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/disney-wont-accept-ads-for-alcohol-or-politics-report\/\" title=\"Disney+ Won\u2019t Accept Ads for Alcohol Or Politics: Report\">family-friendly environment<\/a>, its plentiful Church parishes, and its selection of schools,\u201d Ross McKnight, founder of the Catholic group, said on its <a href=\"https:\/\/newvendee.com\/events\/mens-rosary-of-reparation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile a display such as this would perhaps not be so surprising in New Orleans, Chicago, Austin, or Los Angeles, the objective here appears to be the infiltration of a community with traditional, Catholic values,\u201d he said. \u201cDiabolical also is the concurrence of this event with the First Saturday devotion and the first day of the Month of the Sacred Heart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the Catholic Church, June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a particular devotion centered on the love, mercy and suffering of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/share-gospel-everyone-no-case-hopeless-jesus-lives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Christ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Queer Northshore will be marching along Mandeville\u2019s Lakeshore Drive, which the men of La Nouvelle Vend\u00e9e will stand along while praying the rosary and singing Latin chants, such as \u201cAve Christus Rex\u201d (Hail Christ the King) and \u201cChristus Vincit, Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat\u201d (Christ conquers, Christ reigns, Christ commands).<\/p>\n<p>Men were asked to wear a collared shirt tucked into their pants and instructed not to bring any firearms. A cameraman will be present to cover the Catholic men\u2019s event, especially any \u201caggression\u201d directed at the group by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/disney-inserts-lgbt-jedi-childrens-star-wars-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LGBT<\/a> mob.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not respond to antagonism, but suffer the lash as did the King of all mankind \u2014 with humility and fortitude,\u201d McKnight wrote. \u201cIn the eventuality that one of our men is under threat of deadly violence, we will respond appropriately, but otherwise we will stand stone-faced and immovable in the face of insults and indignities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether, we will stand for the Church, for our families, for our children, and for the beauty and light and wisdom that was \u2014 and will be again \u2014 the Social Kingship of Christ,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a great deed! \u2014 And one that will be accomplished by the best of men. May God\u2019s grace abound on this day and accomplish the salvation of souls.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>La Nouvelle Vend\u00e9e is named after the Catholic and royal army that fought against the French revolutionaries in the 18th-century war in the Vend\u00e9e.
