You have every reason to spend the next five months anticipating anything and everything to keep voters from installing Donald Trump back in the White House through a process formerly known in America as a \u201cfree and fair election.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Up to and including assassinating the candidate whom every indicator has winning in November.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time in our country\u2019s history a former president, who is running for reelection, was just <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/31\/after-trumps-conviction-republicans-should-do-to-democrats-what-they-did-to-him\/\">convicted of a crime<\/a> in what prosecutor\u00a0Alvin Bragg\u2019s hometown newspaper admitted is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/05\/30\/nyregion\/prosecutors-case-against-trump.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cnovel and untested\u201d<\/a> application of an obscure state law. The operation, like the other criminal charges, was orchestrated by Democrats and the news media, none of whom have been shy about their intentions. They <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/blagojevich-they-are-coming-for-trump-the-same-way-they-came-after-me\/\" title=\"BLAGOJEVICH warns: Trump Next in Line After Me\">invented crimes<\/a>. They raided his home. They placed him under arrest. They booked him for a mugshot. Finally, they found the judges and jurors who were certain to deliver the predetermined outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s happening against the most surreal backdrop. While President Biden and his party have devoted every waking hour to calling Trump a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/02\/media-extremely-upset-scotus-just-robbed-voters-of-chance-to-hear-yet-again-that-trump-is-a-threat-to-democracy\/\">\u201cthreat to democracy,\u201d<\/a> they\u2019ve attempted to remove his name from the ballot, censored public information, and shoveled billions of taxpayer dollars into a corrupt Eastern European country that has <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/16\/whatever-u-s-elites-are-defending-in-ukraine-it-isnt-democracy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">canceled its elections<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ve taken us this far. What <em>won\u2019t<\/em> they do? What <em>can\u2019t<\/em> they justify? All signs point to nothing. Their capacity to escalate political tensions is literally boundless.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after the convictions were delivered Thursday afternoon, Trump\u2019s campaign website crashed multiple times with its servers overwhelmed by visitors who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2024\/05\/31\/trump-donation-site-crashes-trial-conviction?utm_source=newsletter&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_campaign=newsletter_axiosam&#038;stream=top\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">searched<\/a> \u201cDonald Trump donation.\u201d The Trump people <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/05\/31\/trump-campaign-donations-record.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> the result was a record $35 million in small-dollar gifts.<\/p>\n<p>In short, Trump\u2019s campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/31\/ex-democrats-independents-and-newbie-donors-throw-cash-at-trump-after-manhattan-show-trial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">isn\u2019t dead<\/a>. And he\u2019s not either. Mission incomplete. So, what\u2019s next? There is inevitably a \u201cnext.\u201d Pandemic? It\u2019s been done before. Race riots? Too obvious. No problem. Their imaginations are just getting warmed up. They have the media and the permanent Washington bureaucracy locked and loaded. All they need is the green light.<\/p>\n<p>Who\u2019s going to stop them? They\u2019re in charge and they plan on keeping it that way. Trump now awaits his sentencing, which will take place more than a month from now in front of a Democrat judge who threatened to throw him behind bars in the middle of the trial. There\u2019s no reason to expect him not to. These people aren\u2019t playing games.<\/p>\n<p>This is just the beginning. It\u2019s going to get a lot uglier.
