The parties swiftly initiated fundraisers in response to the\u2062 Manhattan \u2062jury&#8217;s ruling on all 34 criminal felony counts in Trump&#8217;s New York hush-money trial.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Donald Trump\">Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s guilty <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3018093\/trump-guilty-in-manhattan-hush-money-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"verdict\">verdict<\/a> on Thursday was met with swift fundraising pleas from both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/its-happening-pennsylvania-state-legislature-files-resolution-disputes-statewide-2020-election-results\/\" title=\"It's Happening: Pennsylvania State Legislature Files Resolution -- DISPUTES STATEWIDE 2020 ELECTION RESULTS\">political parties<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The presumptive GOP presidential nominee, congressional Republicans, and President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Joe Biden\">Joe Biden<\/a> mounted immediate fundraisers after Trump was found guilty by a Manhattan jury on all 34 criminal felony counts in his New York hush-money trial.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s campaign, as well as the fundraising arms for House and Senate Republicans, solicited donations from supporters to combat a \u201cpolitical witch hunt\u201d that they said was designed to prevent him from winning the November election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019M A POLITICAL PRISONER!\u201d a Trump campaign fundraising email read. \u201cI was just convicted in a RIGGED political Witch Hunt trial.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The donations came in so fast that WinRed, the GOP political fundraising website, was overwhelmed and reportedly suffered technical difficulties <\/p>\n<p>The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) issued similar public fundraising pitches.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis verdict is a sham, and the American people know it,\u201d NRSC Chairman Steve Daines (R-MT) said in a statement. \u201cDemocrats weaponized the justice system and held a trial worthy of a banana republic. The judge, who is a donor to Joe Biden\u2019s campaign, displayed extreme bias and this verdict should be overturned on appeal in order for justice to be served.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In brief remarks made to reports standing outside the Manhattan courtroom, Trump railed against a \u201cconflicted judge\u201d for leading a \u201crigged, disgraceful trial.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people,\u201d Trump said. \u201cWe didn\u2019t do a thing wrong. I\u2019m a very innocent man.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden tweeted: \u201cThere\u2019s only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: At the ballot box.
