This biased narrative is a strategic effort by Democrats and their media allies to discredit the Supreme Court&#8217;s legitimacy.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-content\">\n<p>Just when you think the media\u2019s smear campaign against conservative Supreme Court justices can\u2019t get any more despicable, they find a way to prove you wrong.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Rolling Stone magazine\u2019s Andrew Perez published a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-features\/amy-coney-barrett-husband-jesse-fox-1235028838\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hit piece<\/a> against Justice Amy Coney Barrett that amounts to nothing more than a dud for Democrats\u2019 war on SCOTUS. The \u201cscandal,\u201d according to the outlet, is that Barrett\u2019s husband is representing Fox Corporation \u2014 Fox News\u2019 parent company \u2014 in an ongoing defamation case involving one of its local stations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-286690568\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d1eb3cddb0502c3867aa83f63cc1b52c fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d1eb3cddb0502c3867aa83f63cc1b52c\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe defamation case was filed by Lavell Redmond, an Illinois man who was convicted of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/two-more-men-linked-to-netflix-doc-charged-with-sexual-misconduct-with-minors\/\" title=\"Two More Men Linked To Netflix Doc Charged With Sexual Misconduct With Minors\">aggravated sexual assault<\/a> as a minor and served 24 years in prison,\u201d the report reads. \u201cRedmond was hired as a code enforcement officer by the mayor of Dolton in 2021, the original complaint says. He is suing Fox over a series of reports that scandalized his hiring \u2014 the first of which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/news\/dolton-mayor-under-fire-for-hiring-registered-child-sex-offender-to-inspect-homes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> he had been hired for \u2018a job in which he goes into Dolton homes and businesses to inspect them.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re wondering what the story\u2019s damning bombshell is, you\u2019re not alone. Not even Perez could identify an ethics violation or act of illegality committed by Barrett or her husband arising from the case. Not only is the matter not pending before SCOTUS, but the high court isn\u2019t even presiding over a case in which Fox Corp. is a party.<\/p>\n<p>The revelation is so unnewsworthy that Perez was left to describe obvious truths, such as Fox News \u201cregularly covers matters at the Supreme Court and will surely continue to do so as the high court nears the end of its term.\u201d He also ominously warned readers about SCOTUS\u2019s plans to issue rulings on several \u201ccontroversial topics\u201d this year, including those related to \u201cabortion, guns, public corruption, and whether\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0is entitled to immunity for life for acts he committed as president.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Because as we all know, the Supreme Court issuing decisions on matters of public importance has never occurred before in American history. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-433e94e539e6fc332b531b60f7575aa0 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-433e94e539e6fc332b531b60f7575aa0\"><\/div>\n<p>As pathetic as it is, Rolling Stone\u2019s smear against Barrett is not an anomaly. Rather, it\u2019s the latest in a string of pseudo-events manufactured by Democrats and their media allies to delegitimize the Supreme Court. Perez gave away the game plan when he cited \u201ccomplaints\u201d from anonymous \u201cethics experts\u201d who are allegedly concerned that \u201c[j]ustices are not required to disclose their spouses\u2019 clients,\u201d and that because of this, \u201cthe public has no way to track who is paying money directly to their families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of course, these so-called \u201cexperts\u201d are almost assuredly Democrats and media apparatchiks who have spent the past several years attempting to undermine the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>From Justices <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/18\/clarence-thomas-has-no-reason-to-recuse-himself-from-any-j6-scotus-cases-and-its-not-even-close\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clarence Thomas<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/04\/25\/politicos-hit-on-neil-gorsuch-is-another-transparent-attempt-to-delegitimize-scotus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Neil Gorsuch<\/a>, the wave of dishonest Democrat hit pieces designed to cast a cloud of impropriety over the court\u2019s Republican-nominated members has been nonstop. The latest batch has come from The New York Times, which <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/29\/alito-becomes-latest-target-in-anti-trump-lawfare-campaign-undermining-the-judiciary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">invented<\/a> a controversy out of thin air by claiming flags flown by Justice Samuel Alito\u2019s wife at their East Coast residence are tied to the \u201cStop the Steal\u201d crowd and Jan. 6, 2021, demonstrations at the U.S. Capitol.<\/p>\n<p>Despite there being <em>zero<\/em> evidence to support such an assertion or claims of wrongdoing by Alito, Democrats have been running around like chickens with their heads cut off demanding the Republican appointee recuse himself from cases related to their <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/20\/i-researched-judicial-ethics-rules-for-years-heres-why-the-alito-recusal-calls-are-ridiculous\/\">2024 campaign s<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/20\/i-researched-judicial-ethics-rules-for-years-heres-why-the-alito-recusal-calls-are-ridiculous\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">t<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/05\/20\/i-researched-judicial-ethics-rules-for-years-heres-why-the-alito-recusal-calls-are-ridiculous\/\">rategy<\/a> of weaponizing the justice system against Donald Trump and his supporters. Radical leftists such as Rep.
