The FDA is today announcing that all final egg inoculation tests associated with this retail sampling study have been completed and were also found to be negative for viable HPAI H5N1 virus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Yet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/healthcare-pharmaceuticals\/us-european-nations-consider-vaccinating-workers-exposed-bird-flu-2024-05-27\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a> reported that U.S. officials acknowledged they were transporting bulk vaccine from CSL Seqirus matching H5N1 that could create 4.8 million doses of vaccine. European health officials also said they were discussing acquiring CSL\u2019s prepandemic vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuman exposures to the virus in poultry and dairy operations could increase the risk that the virus will mutate and gain the ability to spread easily in people,\u201d Reuters stated, adding, \u201cThe U.S. is in talks with mRNA vaccine makers Pfizer\u00a0and about potential pandemic vaccines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration is \u201clooking closely\u201d at vaccinating farm workers and others exposed to the virus, according to Dawn O\u2019Connell of the U.S. Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of our efforts need to be focused on preventing those events from happening,\u201d said Matthew Miller, co-director of the Canadian Pandemic Preparedness Hub at McMaster University. \u201cOnce we have widespread infections of humans, we\u2019re in big trouble.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1717093736215000&#038;usg=AOvVaw2BP-gBNKYLVEZHfr0oA88Y\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>After the second dairy worker was infected in Michigan, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Principal Deputy Director Nirav Shah <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/6981144\/can-i-get-bird-flu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> last week, \u201cWe have not seen evidence of other cases in this area or elsewhere in any of our monitoring systems, let alone any evidence of human-to-human transmission.
