The individual, self-identified as a &#8220;Nigerian scammer,&#8221; revealed their involvement in a bizarre \u200bincident, expressing their prowess in theft. The revelation, reported by The New York Post, highlighted their unsuccessful attempt and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ukraine-invasion-sanctions-will-see-russian-economy-shrink-by-35-percent-jp-morgan\/\" title=\"Ukraine Invasion Sanctions Will See Russian Economy Shrink by 35 Percent: JP Morgan\">targeting strategies<\/a>, \u2062as \u2064disclosed in an \u200dinterview translated from\u200b Luganda.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An alleged scammer has stepped forward to take credit for the attempted foreclosure of Graceland, the estate of the late rock and roll icon <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/elvis-presley\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Elvis Presley<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Earlier this month, Naussany Investments and Private Lending LLC claimed the right to auction off Graceland to settle an outstanding debt. The impending sale was later halted in court after a judge determined that <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the ownership documents were likely forged. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now, an individual identifying as a \u201cNigerian scammer\u201d is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ap-reporter-unloads-on-biden-official-all-of-this-work-was-done-in-the-previous-administration\/\" title=\"AP Reporter Unloads On Biden Official: \u2018All Of This Work Was Done In The Previous Administration\u2019\">taking credit<\/a> for the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/entertainment\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">incident<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, per <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/05\/29\/us-news\/nigerian-scammer-takes-credit-for-bizarre-graceland-auction-scare-i-had-fun\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The New York Post<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe figure out how to steal. That\u2019s what we do,\u201d the person reportedly wrote while interviewed by the New York Times. The interview was translated from Luganda, a language spoken in Uganda. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI had fun figuring this one out and it didn\u2019t succeed very well,\u201d the alleged scammer said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the interview, the person reportedly spoke about targeting elderly victims and other vulnerable groups for financial scams. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Naussany Investments and Private Lending LLC presented documents claiming that Elvis\u2019 daughter, the late Lisa Marie, had borrowed $3.8 million and put up Graceland as collateral prior to her death in January 2023. Lisa Marie\u2019s daughter, Riley Keough, owns Graceland now that her mother has passed. Keough headed to court to dispute the foreclosure filing earlier in May. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Keough called the foreclosure documents \u201cfraudulent,\u201d while her grandmother, Elvis\u2019 ex-wife Priscilla Presley, declared it was a \u201cscam,\u201d as The Daily Wire previously reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1716990157394000&#038;usg=AOvVaw33qQydjIo8bet419amChif\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Elvis purchased the 14-acre Memphis property in the spring of 1957 when he was 22, paying just over $100,000 for the mansion and grounds. He spent the following years renovating and expanding the property and lived there until he died in 1977.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It was opened to the public as a museum in 1982 and attracts more than 650,000 visitors annually. Elvis and other family members, including Lisa Marie, are buried on the property.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lisa Marie once <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-was-supreme-court-chief-justice-john-roberts-arrested\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Was Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts Arrested?\">retained full control<\/a> of Elvis\u2019 estate, which today is estimated to be worth around $1 billion. She sold 85% of her stake in the company in 2005 for $100 million.
