If the candidates are too close to determine a winner, the votes are categorized as \u201ctoss up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>DDHQ currently has Trump slated to win 235 electoral votes against Biden\u2019s 226. That leaves 77 electoral votes, and the presidency, up for grabs.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are the six toss-up states. DDHQ currently predicts that Trump will win all but Michigan, which leans slightly in Biden\u2019s favor. In this scenario, Trump would win 297 electoral votes compared to Biden\u2019s 241.<\/p>\n<p>However, because the toss-up races are so close. It predicted that Biden would take Florida and North Carolina, both of which went to Trump. Other than that, the models were pretty spot on.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, whatever optimism the Trump campaign feels should be cautioned. After all, there\u2019s still over five months until Americans go to the ballot boxes in November.<\/p>\n<p>And if the last two election cycles have taught us anything, it\u2019s that a surprise immediately before the election (think the James Comey investigation into Hilary Clinton and the suppression of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop) is not out of the question.<\/p>\n<p>Still, this model shows discontent with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/top-democratic-party-officials-full-freakout-mode-election-create-lengthy-list-biden-will-lose-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> administration\u2019s governance over the last three years, to the point where Americans are likely to replace him with arguably the most polarizing and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-adviser-offers-theory-on-why-biden-uses-fake-white-house-set\/\" title=\"Trump Adviser Offers Theory On Why Biden Uses Fake White House Set\">ridiculed president<\/a> in American history.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019ll be more interesting to see how the forecast changes after Trump and Biden square off in the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/05\/15\/politics\/joe-biden-debate\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gov-whitmer-media-caught-in-another-lie-anarchist-arrested-for-plot-to-kidnap-and-kill-whitmer-hates-president-trump-trump-is-a-tyrant-video\/\" title=\"Gov. Whitmer, Media Caught in Another Lie - Anarchist Arrested For Plot to Kidnap and Kill Whitmer Hates President Trump, 'Trump is a Tyrant' (VIDEO)\">presidential debate<\/a><\/a> on June 27, hosted by CNN.<\/p>\n<p>The first meeting since the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/miranda-devine-the-medias-silence-on-the-twitter-files-is-shameful\/\" title=\"Miranda Devine: The Media\u2019s Silence on the \u201cTwitter Files\u201d Is Shameful\">final 2020 presidential debate<\/a> almost four years ago is sure to produce fireworks, as both men have more ammunition than ever against each other thanks to the last four years.<\/p>\n<p>Trump will surely attack Biden\u2019s economic failures, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidens-much-ballyhooed-gaza-pier-now-completely-unusable-officials-admit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">foreign policy<\/a> disasters, open border policies, and energy records, while Biden will pound Trump over the abundance of legal issues the former president has faced since leaving office.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, both Trump and Biden have been in the public spotlight for so long that it\u2019s hard to imagine large swaths of the public changing their opinion on either man at this point.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, the election is far from over, and the path to the White House is paved with little room for errors.
