loaded ready to take me out &#038; put my family in danger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former president was responding to the revelation that the FBI was permitted to use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fbi-signed-off-on-use-of-deadly-force-for-raid-on-trump-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cdeadly force\u201d<\/a> in the 2022 raid on Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago estate, though the bureau <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fbi-signed-off-on-use-of-deadly-force-for-raid-on-trump-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">insists<\/a> it was following\u00a0\u201cstandard protocol.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors said Trump\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jack-smith-requests-gag-order-after-trump-says-fbi-agents-were-ready-to-take-me-out\/\" title=\"Jack Smith Seeks Gag Order Following Trump's Assertion of FBI Agents' Threat\">statements \u201cfalsely\u201d suggested law enforcement agents \u201c<\/a>were complicit in a plot to assassinate\u201d the former president and exposed \u201cagents, some of whom will be witnesses at trial, to the risk of threats, violence, and harassment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Smith\u2019s team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jack-smith-requests-gag-order-after-trump-says-fbi-agents-were-ready-to-take-me-out\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">asked<\/a> the court to restrain Trump from making public declarations that pose a serious \u201cdanger\u201d to agents participating in the case. In a footnote, prosecutors also noted Trump\u2019s lawyers object to the motion as they \u201cdo not believe that there is any imminent danger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump is contending with a gag order in a separate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/appeals-court-denies-trumps-gag-order-challenge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York hush-money case<\/a>. He was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/judge-hits-trump-with-fines-threatens-jail-time-over-gag-order\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fined<\/a> thousands of dollars last month after being found to be in violation of that order.
