Go back to your homework AND your taxes respectively nobody should be watching this <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/eoZgpFBlJ0\">pic.twitter.com\/eoZgpFBlJ0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Roy Donutdox (@AO3_donutdox) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AO3_donutdox\/status\/1701598176665620854?\">September 12, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That satirical Disclaimer that precedes most episodes holds especially true today \u2014 particularly for any humans who work in the American health care system.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s because the latest special from \u201cSouth Park\u201d (due to a myriad of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/paramount-suing-hbo-max-parent-company-warner-50m-south-park\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">legal issues<\/a>, the show is currently forbidden from producing proper episodes and seasons), titled \u201cThe End of Obesity,\u201d takes very specific aim at the labyrinthine maze known as the American health care system.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gina-carano-joins-south-park-fun-roasting-kathleen-kennedy-woke-disney\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">South Park<\/a>\u201d special focuses on Eric Cartman \u2014 one of the main characters of the show who is best described as a rotund and spoiled brat \u2014 trying to lose weight with the use of brand-name drugs.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The advent of new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/overweight-cumin-spice-works-better-than-obesity-drugs\/\" title=\"Overweight? Cumin Spice Works Better Than Obesity Drugs\">weight loss drugs<\/a> has a huge impact on everyone in South Park. Perhaps more impressively, those quote posts come from X accounts of all ideological persuasions \u2014 from the far left to the far right.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the obvious embellishment of the situation, Cartman\u2019s constant jumping through asinine hoops is an imminently relatable situation.<\/p>\n<p>As popular as this clip has been across social media, it\u2019s hardly the first time \u201cSouth Park\u201d has waded into culture war topics.<\/p>\n<p>In October, \u201cSouth Park\u201d came under an intense microscope after it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/south-park-takes-direct-shot-identity-politics-leftists-already-fuming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">skewered identity politics<\/a> and had leftists fuming.<\/p>\n<p>In February, the show went viral when it blasted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-south-park-brilliantly-skewers-hypocrisy-harry-meghan-sending-worldwide-privacy-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prince Harry and Meghan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe End of Obesity\u201d special is airing on Paramount+.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>I heard a chilling comment the other day: \u201cWe don\u2019t even know if an election will be held in 2024.\u201d <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>That wasn\u2019t said by a conspiracy theorist or a doomsday prophet.
