Scott highlighted these remarks\u200b in a CNN \u200bState of the Union discourse, comparing \u2063Trump&#8217;s \u2064and\u2063 Biden&#8217;s tactics to win over black voters. He stressed that the Trump \u200dera prompted a rise\u200d in \u2063wages and fair treatment, while under\u2062 Biden, \u2064these components are declining. Scott criticized Biden for his past\u2064 comments on racial\u2064 matters and his stance\u2063 on resegregating schools. Tim Scott (R-SC) said over the weekend that more and more black voters are supporting former President Donald Trump because of \u201cjobs and justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scott made the remarks during a Sunday interview on CNN\u2019s \u201cState of the Union\u201d while talking about how Trump and President Joe Biden are trying to win over black voters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHere\u2019s what I can tell you, is that under Donald Trump, we were better off,\u201d Scott said. \u201cThere are two things that are driving black votes back to Donald Trump, jobs and justice. Number one, under Donald Trump, our wages were going up. Right now, fairness is going down. But if you\u2019re really concerned about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-has-signed-40-executive-orders-and-actions-since-taking-office\/\" title=\"Biden has signed 40 executive orders and actions since taking office\">racial justice<\/a> in America, let\u2019s not forget, Joe Biden is the guy that talked about racial jungles as a result of desegregation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s not forget the fact that Joe Biden is the president who said, \u2018if you don\u2019t vote for me, you can\u2019t be black\u2019, an old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tim-scott-leads-black-republicans-to-court-support-for-trump-amid-vp-speculation\/\" title=\"Tim Scott rallies African American Republicans to gain backing for Trump amidst Vice Presidential rumors\">white dude telling<\/a> me I can\u2019t be black if I don\u2019t vote for him,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is the president who said that if \u2014 that the Republican Party wants to put you back in chains.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe only person I have seen restraining black folks economically is the Joe Biden economy,\u201d he continued. \u201cSo, I find it quite insulting to suggest that Joe Biden does not have serious concerns, when his own vice president, Kamala Harris, said he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-full-timeline-of-the-fiery-candace-owens-cardi-b-feud\/\" title=\"The Full Timeline Of The Fiery Candace Owens\/Cardi B Feud\u00a0\">supported segregation<\/a>. And if you look in cities like Chicago today, the elimination of charter schools under Joe Biden resegregates schools in America.
