The New York Times reported that Kennedy admitted to having \u2063a brain infection by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/philippines-president-threatens-to-jail-citizens-who-refuse-vaccine\/\" title=\"Philippines President Threatens To Jail Citizens Who Refuse Vaccine\">parasitic worm<\/a> in 2010, as well as experiencing mercury poisoning that led to cognitive issues such\u200c as memory loss. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> will disclose his medical records, if elected president, according to a new interview.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/independents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>independent<\/a> presidential candidate, was asked to make the commitment after the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/media\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>New York Times<\/a><\/em>  reported earlier this month that he admitted during a 2012 deposition that a parasitic worm \u201cate a portion\u201d of his brain in 2010 and that he experienced mercury poisoning and \u201ccognitive problems,\u201d including memory loss, around the same time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>[Joe]  Biden<\/a> obviously released his medical records. When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a> was president, he released his as well,\u201d Brian Tyler Cohen, a YouTuber and host of the <em>No Lie<\/em> podcast, told Kennedy. \u201cWould you release your medical records to give the American public a full look at any cognitive problems?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, sure I will,\u201d Kennedy said. \u201cI\u2019m happy to give my medical records to the same extent that the other candidates did.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure>\n<div>\n<blockquote data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In the past, RFK Jr. has pointed to mercury poisoning\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cdc-study-warns-about-parasitic-brain-worms-found-in-georgia\/\" title=\"CDC warns of brain worms found in Georgia.\">brain worms<\/a> as a legal basis not to pay spousal support. He also downplayed speculation he is a spoiler because he and Trump share a donor, Timothy Mellon, chairman and owner of Pan Am Systems, in addition to the grandson of the late <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/treasury\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Treasury Secretary<\/a> Andrew Mellon, himself a banker, industrialist, and philanthropist.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf he\u2019s giving $25 million to Trump and to you, and this is a Trump-aligned donor and he\u2019s your biggest donor to two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/super-pacs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>super PACs<\/a> right now, do you have any relationship with this person?\u201d Cohen asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI met Tim Mellon twice,\u201d Kennedy said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no other inclination as to why he\u2019s donating?\u201d\u2028Cohen responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI welcome <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/money\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>money<\/a> from everybody,\u201d Kennedy replied.<\/p>\n<p>The Kennedy campaign previously dismissed the deposition, conducted during the former environmental attorney\u2019s divorce from his second wife Mary Richardson Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe issue was resolved more than 10 years ago, and he is in robust physical and mental health.
