The\u2062 shoot-out also claimed the life of\u200c Jude Montis, the ministry&#8217;s director. Their residence was looted before \u2063they were\u200c murdered. The \u2064news, \u200bconfirmed by Natalie\u2019s father,\u200b State \u200bRep. Ben \u2064Barker, and their organization, Missions \u200din Haiti Inc., prompted an \u200boutpouring \u200cof online condolences and donations. \u2064Following the \u200cgrim\u200b incident, the U.S. Embassy took custody of\u2063 the bodies. Funeral arrangements in the U.S. are anticipated \u200cnext week. Agape Flights, a travel nonprofit aiding Christian\u200c missionaries, expressed their sympathies. The incident has led to Missions in Haiti Inc. relocating its staff and children \u200dto safer locations.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The families of a <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/religion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>missionary couple<\/a> who were fatally shot in <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/haiti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Haiti<\/a> received condolences and donations <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/social-media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Natalie Lloyd, 21, and Davy Lloyd, 23, were serving as missionaries at an orphanage when Natalie\u2019s father, Missouri State Rep. Ben Barker, confirmed online that they were ambushed by a gang. Their organization, Missions in Haiti Inc., also confirmed that the two were taken while leaving the church, along with its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/crt-experts-offer-advice-on-how-parents-can-fight-back-against-indoctrination-in-their-childs-classroom\/\" title=\"CRT Experts Offer Advice On How Parents Can Fight Back Against Indoctrination In Their Child\u2019s Classroom\">ministry director<\/a>, Jude Montis. The house they were living at was ransacked before all three were shot and killed.<\/p>\n<p>Since the incident, Barker confirmed that the U.S. Embassy has the bodies in its possession. Barker expected their transportation back to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/United-States\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>United States<\/a> sometime next week in order to have funeral services for them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a huge answer to prayer for us. Thank you to everyone who is praying and offering condolences it\u2019s been overwhelming and we can\u2019t thank you enough,\u201d Barker wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo many things to say. We are facing the most difficult time of our life. Thank you for all your prayers and support,\u201d Missions in Haiti Inc. wrote. \u201cThe children and staff of Missions in Haiti has been relocated to safer location.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Travel agency Agape Flights also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/no-spike-in-florida-coronavirus-cases-despite-no-mask-mandate\/\" title=\"No Spike in Florida Coronavirus Cases Despite No Mask Mandate\">issued<\/a> a statement, as it is a charity that provides travel for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Christianity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Christian<\/a> missionaries across Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe entire Agape Flights family expresses our deepest condolences to the families of Davy, Natalie, and Jude. Please pray for God\u2019s presence and peace upon them as they process this unthinkable tragedy,\u201d the company wrote before paraphrasing 2 Corinthians 5:5-8. \u201cNow the power that has planned this experience for us is God, and He has given us His Spirit as a guarantee of its truth. This makes us confident, whatever happens. We realize that being \u2018at home\u2019 in the body means that to some extent we are \u2018away\u2019 from the Lord, for we have to live by trusting Him without seeing Him. We are so sure of this that we would really rather be \u2018away\u2019 from the body (in death) and be \u2018at home\u2019 with the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHeart-wrenching.
