Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) classifies as &#8220;ridiculous&#8221; the \u2062concept\u200d of President\u200d Joe Biden exiting the 2024 presidential\u200d race. The dismissal is a response to Nate \u200dSilver, a polling data commentator who stated that Biden should consider bowing out if his polls don&#8217;t improve by August -\u2062 a sentiment previously echoed by Stephen A. Smith and Charlamagne tha God. Moskowitz insists the discussion isn&#8217;t valuable, confidently asserting \u2063Biden&#8217;s\u2062 nomination and victory. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) dismissed the idea of President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Joe Biden<\/a> leaving the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2024<\/a> presidential race, arguing that such a suggestion is \u201cridiculous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Florida congressman was responding to a suggestion made by polling data commentator Nate Silver, who wrote on social media that Biden should consider dropping out of the presidential race if his poll numbers do not improve by August. Silver is not the first to suggest this, as sports commentator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2434382\/we-need-a-new-president-stephen-a-smith-suggests-newsom-take-bidens-place-as-nominee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Stephen A. Smith<\/a> and radio host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2433418\/charlamagne-tha-god-asks-biden-to-step-aside-for-christmas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Charlamagne tha God<\/a> have also suggested that another Democrat could step in for Biden.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<div>\n<blockquote data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<div lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>If Biden is still struggling in August he needs to consider stepping aside.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not a great situation for Ds either way, but you have to do due diligence on the question. We\u2019re well past that conversation. President Biden is going to be the nominee, we\u2019re going to have our convention, and he\u2019s going to win in November.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moskowitz added that he believes the election will pose a question of whether or not voters will want former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a> back in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/news\/white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>White House<\/a>, as Trump is the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party. He also said that each vote will come down to what people value, arguing that those who value \u201ca woman\u2019s right to choose\u201d and having access to contraception will not be voting for the former president.<\/p>\n<p>Moskowitz concluded that the United States is currently in \u201chalf time\u201d in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/did-president-trump-spring-a-trap-on-treasonous-democrats-on-election-night\/\" title=\"Did President Trump Spring a Trap on Treasonous Democrats on Election Night?\">presidential election cycle<\/a>, and that the race between the two candidates is \u201cvery close\u201d right now. The pool surveyed 3,969 voters in seven battleground states from May 6 to May 13.<\/p>\n<p>Biden and Trump are scheduled to conduct <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3008393\/biden-trump-tv-brawls-what-senators-watching\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>their first debate on June 27<\/a>, with a second <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrat-candidates-in-key-battleground-states-are-ducking-debates-with-their-gop-opponents\/\" title=\"Democrat Candidates In Key Battleground States Are Ducking Debates With Their GOP Opponents\">debate scheduled<\/a> for Sept. 10.
