Then he came home screaming, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/abc13.com\/post\/friendswood-teen-facing-blindness-after-chemical-attack-carried\/14863757\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KTRK-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll I heard was he had a substance thrown in his face, which I was told was salt,\u201d Amy Morgan said.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing worked, so they went to the hospital, where the story emerged. One teen took a package from a house. Inside was a tube with powder. According to court documents, Brendan Jolly, 17, spilled some on Morgan\u2019s shirt. Morgan pushed him away. Jolly threw the powder, which turned out to be drain de-clogger, in Brody\u2019s face.<\/p>\n<p>Jolly faces an injury to a disabled charge, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/abc13.com\/post\/friendswood-chemical-attack-clear-brook-high-school-student-bond\/14866375\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KTRK-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you think violence among teenagers is getting worse?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Court documents indicate the other teen with Jolly and Morgan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/guardians-city-bus-driver-saves-missing-autistic-boy-wandering-freezing-weather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has told police<\/a> Jolly threw the substance at Morgan on purpose and that the package was clearly labeled drain de-clogger.<\/p>\n<p>Jolly was slapped with a $300,000 bond on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Amy Morgan said her son is \u201cjust really frustrated and he\u2019s pretty angry about it,\u201d according to KPRC.<\/p>\n<p>Her son is at home with drops and ointments for his eyes, but Morgan is worried.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe could have fine vision today and the surface of his corneas be fine, and then tomorrow they start to break down and him lose vision,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Jolly\u2019s family issued a statement to KTRK, saying \u201cOur family is very distraught over the details of this case, for both of our families. I\u2019m very saddened by the entire event, and heart goes out to Brody and his family. I believe this incident was NOT an act of malicious intent by my son to harm his friend but an accident resulting from the choices made by all parties involved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amy Morgan said she has some<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/64-year-old-tourist-loses-hand-part-leg-attacked-vacation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> sympathy<\/a> for Jolly\u2019s family, said Jolly\u2019s mother is \u201cgoing to try to protect her son, and I don\u2019t blame her,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know all of this has to be hard on them, but they are not having to deal with a child that is possibly going to lose his vision or scarring burns on his face,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan said the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/autistic-teen-bears-full-brunt-hate-speech-law-arrested-telling-cop-looks-like-grandma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">incident<\/a> need not have happened.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was saying, \u2018You shouldn\u2019t do that. That\u2019s bad.\u2019 Something along those lines \u2026 and I think that sort of irritated them. These boys knew Brody had autism,\u201d Morgan said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.khou.com\/article\/news\/crime\/friendswood-teen-chemical-burns-arrest\/285-690f5c2d-65e3-4fdc-939f-a98a22b6e345\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KHOU-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As for her son\u2019s attacker, she said \u201cI do feel like he should have some punishment.
