This poll comes almost four years after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that followed former President Donald Trump\u2019s loss to President Joe Biden. The two will be going head-to-head again this November.<\/p>\n<p>Democratic respondents were more likely to anticipate violence, as 85% reported being afraid. Sixty-five percent of Republican respondents reported that they feared violence. Only 15% disagreed with the statement that they were concerned about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trump-indictment-fulton-county-prosecutors-signal-potential-plea-deals\/\" title=\"Fulton County prosecutors hint at possible plea deals in Donald Trump indictment.\">post-election violence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-dc\/39-months-since-the-jan-6-attack-on-the-capitol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"According\">According<\/a> to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office, more than 1,400 people were arrested due to their participation in the riot on Jan. 6, 2021. These arrestees represented nearly every state and the District of Columbia. Some 820 of them pleaded guilty to the charges against them.
