In August 2022, he began renting the Los Angeles property from Nikeeta Sriram, a Netflix<strong> <\/strong>executive handling commerce strategy and growth products, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2024-05-23\/hijacked-how-renter-turned-l-a-home-into-an-illegal-airbnb-from-5-000-miles-away-lawsuit-says\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>according to<\/a> the <em>Los Angeles Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>For the first 16 months of the lease, everything went well, Sriram said. Jarzabek gave Sriram nothing substantive to complain about. The musician had $1 million in the bank, paid his rent on time, and didn\u2019t damage the property. <\/p>\n<p>In hindsight, the Netflix executive and Harvard Business graduate remembers details that were early warning signs. <\/p>\n<p>Jarzabek was denied the first time he applied to rent the property when Sriram leased to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/running-safely-if-youre-over-50\/\" title=\"Running Safely If You\u2019re Over 50\">couple running<\/a> a startup. When the couple moved out months later, he applied again, a move Sriram said she finds \u201cobviously suspicious in hindsight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost renters are trying to move on a specific timeline,\u201d she said. \u201cYou don\u2019t see people applying for the same house three months apart.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sriram remembers another detail that makes sense in the saga\u2019s aftermath. <\/p>\n<p>After she approved Jarzabek as the new tenant, he asked to move in on Aug. 26, a few days before the lease started on Sept. 1. <\/p>\n<p>At the time, she didn\u2019t think it was a big deal. Now, Sriram realizes Jarzabek already had the house listed on Airbnb, with guests on the way.<\/p>\n<p>From August 2022 through December 2023, Jarzabek raked in approximately $13,500 per month by renting out a home he didn\u2019t own. His moneymaking schemes began to fall apart only through an arbitrary police check-in.  <\/p>\n<p>Just after Christmas 2023, the property\u2019s ADT alarm went off so many times that the company automatically triggered a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trans-woman-jailed-after-using-cocaine-having-sex-with-dog-your-record-is-appalling\/\" title=\"Trans Woman Jailed After Using Cocaine, Having Sex with Dog: 'Your Record Is Appalling'\">police visit<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Sriram called ADT, which told her the police claimed Airbnb guests had set off the alarm. <\/p>\n<p>In a quick Google search, Sriram found her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/deathtrap-truck-full-of-illegal-immigrants-was-cloned-says-texas-fleet-owner\/\" title=\"Deathtrap Truck Full Of Illegal Immigrants Was \u2018Cloned,\u2019 Says Texas Fleet Owner\">home listed<\/a> on Airbnb for $688 per night. <\/p>\n<p>Her investigation uncovered an elaborate cover-up scheme. <\/p>\n<p>According to Sriram\u2019s lawsuit against the London artist, Jarzabek used an alias for the Airbnb account, never showed photos of the home\u2019s exterior, and used an initial false address for bookers to conceal Sriram\u2019s actual address. <\/p>\n<p>Jarzabek denied Sriram\u2019s findings, referring her to his lawyer. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sriram has fought a long and hard battle to remove Jarzabek from her home. In California, eviction is the only legal pathway to remove a tenant, and Airbnb provides little recourse against illegal listings. <\/p>\n<p>The Netflix executive has spent months in court, losing approximately $100,000 due to Jarzabek\u2019s fraud.
